I have a '95 Daytona Super III. They are indeed heavy bikes with a lot of tank up high. I love the sound. I won't even talk about the power. It just pulls and pulls and before you know you're going way too fast. Once it's moving the handling is impeccable.
My Buddy had the 1200 4 cylinder, which was really top heavy....and he weighed about 130 lbs, soaking wet....he gave it to his (bigger) Son in the end because he was afraid if it toppled over, he never get out from under it....
I saw a guy once that perched his belly on the tank on a bike that was "not for his stature". Great bike, a sort of rebirth for Triumph. They have become a bit soul-less lately though...
I was ecstatic at the rebirth of Triumph, I had aSpeed Triple in black, followed by a 900 Daytona, 595 Daytona then a 955 Daytona, all in black. The roar of Triumph triple is awesome! I think the latest Triumphs have lost a bit of individuality and character. Just my opinion!

The power is amazing!
That is bloody gorgeous 😍 ❤️
I agree!
Had a 1994 Speed Triple living in Paris, selling it has been a constant regret
Wahoo!

It was an interesting ride. The bike really pulled. Wahoo!
You need to test a 1995 Thunderbird, similar to that bike but a 900cc triple cruiser. No belly inhibitor either, LOL😂
I'll look for one!

You've had some great motorcycles! I'm worried about the modern Triumph company.
More of a fan of the yellow Sprint RS myself.
Nice!
