If you have a win rate of let's say 7 BB per hour (which I would expect a pro to be making at low stakes, bear minimum) at 1/3, that's $21 per hour. That's not fantastic in 2024, but it's better than minimum wage, and you can pick your own hours essentially. Why couldn't he pay for law school with that?
