I play poker as a side income, have been winning for 12 years. It's gambling. You can be gambling with an advantage, but it's still gambling. Can i take from your assessment, that, in such a situation, where there is a coin that has a 51% chance to land on heads, that betting on it landing on heads would not be gambling? Because it definitely is, it's just gambling with advantage. That's all a good poker player is doing, albeit a more active process maintaining an advantage. Something a recreational player just isn't capable of usually, because they tend to be competing with players who are playing as a way of earning money, not just for fun occasionally, or during a time where they need to make some quick cash. So for most players, it's full blown gambling, this includes players who will eventually be good, but have only just started, so they're not very good at it yet (most people think this is them, but in reality, it's shockingly few people that ever get any good, the game is ludicrously complex). For the few players who win, it's gambling with an advantage. Definitely gambling though.
@@TimeHandler Gambling (also known as betting or gaming) is the wagering of something of value ("the stakes") on a random event with the intent of winning something else of value, where instances of strategy are discounted. Players who know what they are doing use a strategy that enables them to win in the long run. But yeah, the outcome on the short term is still partly random.

That’s a great idea! Betting is always more fun with friends around, and those bonuses for referring them seem pretty generous.
Of course the robbers are the type of people you'd expect
that's racist. the biggest robbers of the world are white, middle-upper age, males.
Comments like this are why I never take what white people say at face value
We need more of this type of videos. Real life.
Easy rob me for nothing. My games, the guys wire me everything.. you get wired the cash back when u cash out. Nothing happens
Must be low stakes cause after amounts over 10k you gonna have the IRS knocking
probably the dumbest best idea i ever heard
@@Funk1880 lol, no.
I make 150+ wires a year, bud...nobody comes knocking, nobody asks why.
@@Funk1880 just depends who wants to play. I’m not a whale, but I host anywhere from 5/10 to my biggest game 100/200.. that was only 5 players tho lol too big
Interesting, but that leaves a paper trail and could lead to your bank flagging you?
Nah the ending line is crazyyyyy lmfaooooo
The fact that we get free videos from VICE TV on TH-cam is priceless, keeping the education and knowledge alive. 🙏🙏🙏
Having Aaron Finch at 4ra events brings a spark of trust and high-caliber sportsmanship
Have you looked at the reload bonuses They seem perfect for keeping the game going after the initial play
Someone help me understand. Why would you gamble in a drug den where you can be easily robbed when many states have casinos with luxury experiences and no threat of death?
honestly i dont know some niggas just like playing with life
or maybe they just wanna steal cash?
the odds of robbery actually pretty low. "drug den" is kind of bad description too. yes there are drugs there of course there are drugs everywhere. you make it sound like people snorting lines off the table or something.
Amazing work and a view into a crazy world
I couldn’t imagine robbing a game, the underground games I go to are smaller (10-20k on the table) and everyone’s packing.
Same. He wouldn’t make it through the door.
@@jacobpotter2237 plus they make the games seem so “shady” but in reality it’s just a bunch of people who know eachother from playing in other rooms/charity rooms/ and casinos 😂
I could only imagine how many illegal gambling rings there are in nyc... I live in a midwest city & plenty go on here
The robber with the mask is gonna get it. Easy to see who he is.
Rat of a human being.
Na he safe cuz he made up every bit of that. Didn't believe a word he said😂
"im going from ashy to classy".... the beginning to end sounds like chappelle's world series of dice but real
Omar once robbed a gambling spot in the exact way the dude described he was hit 😅
*RIP* Michael K Williams, dude always seemed genuine and authentic ❤ I hate to say, I miss his presence in movies 🍿 the last one I seen him in was *BROOKLYNS FINEST* 😮
Dude at the start who called up to reserve a seat, sold his friend out for a $100 is ruthless
is he? they make it sound like these friends have no idea what they getting into. if they are going to this game they have played poker before. they make it sound like the guys friend don't even know the rules.
Same in Tennessee where I live. I’ve witnessed guys losing 70k+ in PLO at home games…
Is this what was under that synagogue?!?
/s
i play at about 5-10 undergorund poker clubs in long island new york... they getg raided more than they get robbed but im guessing in nyc thatds a lil different
6:09 dude come on. It's Just money. For things. Stuff. It isn't worth it. It's not too late... save yourself... repent your sins... be a good person.
I dont even believe in god an that shocked me, I dont wanna judge because i dont know what that guy had to go through in his life to turn out that evil but i hope he gets help, thats insane to even say on camera but you can see it in his eyes, not much empathy or life goin on their.
“I can organize an illegal card game, but I don’t know how to put in a job application”
5:20 👈🏼😂 This clown is capping !! Yes, you robbed a dice game with no mask so why are you wearing the mask now…I’m 100% sure that you wouldn’t have been breathing right now.
Remember the old adage son, leave 'em while you're looking good.
If you see poker as gambling then it simply isn't your game
exactly what i thought

Gambling (also known as betting or gaming) is the wagering of something of value ("the stakes") on a random event with the intent of winning something else of value, where instances of strategy are discounted.
Players who know what they are doing use a strategy that enables them to win in the long run. But yeah, the outcome on the short term is still partly random.
"No mask means you're gonna get shot". The skinny robber was the smart one of the two.
He cappin. Not gonna snitch hiself out that easy in front of the camera
@@Jaywesnutz say it to his face.
I'm thinking of using it to bet on the cricket matches. There's a big game coming up, and that extra bonus could really come in handy
They definitely robbed his shi soon as the video ended 😂
I used to work in this pizza shop you see in the first 40 seconds of this video lol
I'd like an Extra Large Deluxe pizza please.
Ive always said to myself that if I knew who the person was in a ski mask I could easily tell it’s them. Mask is almost pointless. For their line of work i would never appear on anybodies camera!
i thought the exact same. heaps of people will know who that is. if the cops know about the "shooting" if it happened.... and have other evidence.. this would seal it.
It's hard to believe they are telling the truth. Pretty dumb if they are talking facts.
did you's just take a sopranos storyline and turn it into a documentary ? 😂
Robbing all that money and wearing Spizike Jordans😂😂
How is no one packing heat at an illicit gambling hall? Only in NYC man…
These robbers need to get some vacation in prison
Poker underworld is wayy bigger than what you would believe
