The awd Gs are very overlooked by car weebs cause its automatic. So they are easy to find in good condition. Plus if you wanted to go rwd you can just do the fuse trick and have both! however that will light up your dash. You can also enhance the shifter mode to respond faster by attaching ground wires to specific parts of the car. Which you can gather materials for at the hardware store.

But it will enhance the shifting much more than just the ground kit. The less lag the better. As the manual mode for my AWD g35 works great but is definitely on the slower side in response so this should cut the time between shifts significantly.

We tried to flip it and angle it to just add a spacer but it wouldn't work. The angle was just off. I'm pretty sure it's because of the channel on the awd but not 100% sure. I would just take it to a shop and let them custom fit it.

It's stupid how ISR themselves say that the Y pipe doesn't fit the X model, but i've seen a few people saying it does. I have an x coupe and am worried it wont fit lol. Ive only heard that the y pipe is the issue, so from the y pipe back should fit correctly i hope now since they make a g37 specific exhaust now.

Besides it not being a drop in fit no real complaints, I love it. Sounds great after it breaks in, drone is minimal. Definitely added some noticeable power with the exhaust/y-pipe combo. Think I've only scraped once with it but I have a steep driveway

Is it better to get a g37x or g37s? Which one drives better/handles, reliability and is the overall better model? Thinking about getting one myself don’t know if I want AWD or RWD and is there really a big difference between the sport model and the base?
sport model is way better imo. it comes with a limited slip diff instead of an open diff. so if you wanna drift or do donuts get the sport. and these cars don’t have much torque so you don’t need awd to have traction. some 245 tires or wider will have you hooking whenever you race.

I got a FX37 and I have an Invidia Gemini catback with Beluga test pipes.. but taking both off cuz it completely changed the tone to a generic 🍚🍚🍚 exhaust and killed any VQ note that was there before. Was about to just get a Manzo axleback since those make the VQ growl like how it should/how it does on stock VQ35 but just saw the IS-R single... how's the sound now? the rwd shouldn’t have major issues but with the x you gotta cut it and re angle the line to fit within the channel. So basically splicing and adding in a new line that partly includes the extension

Instant would be ideal but I doubt it will ever truly be that responsive. Not even sure newer cars can shift without some lag even if it's .5 seconds.

Your extension a 3" too? I've got a g37x with a 2.5" straight pipe. I believe the opening that leads to the catback on my beluga racing y pipe is 2.5"
