I was very impressed with Robbie, what a great fighter, he even fought a young and aggressive Iran Barkley and beat him too ... Robbie Simms was a great fighter
Duran se quedó sin resto físico, sino le ganaba. Que grande Durán, peleando contra tipos mucho más grandes, jóvenes y fuertes. Ahora todos esquivan peleas. Él aceptó todas, incluidas las que no les convenía
But he wouldn't fight Mike McCallum, McCullum's camp was ready but Duran's camp backed off from forming the fight .... the only one out of the four kings that would of fought him was Marvin Hagler , but Hagler had Hearns , John the beast Mugabi and S.R.Leonard on his schedule ... Leonard was afraid of McCallum , he said in later years that he didn't want anything to do with McCullum 😂
He was 135 pounds 15 years prior to this fight but from 1979 and on he was floating at around the 150s , so it's not like he lost 15 pounds in one year 🤔
Yeah I really wanted him to win this fight. He looked stronger here than when he fought Hagler. His stamina and his constant gaining and losing weight was his downfall.
@@Cuauhtemoc3amd i don't really get disappointed at the results here, it's a close fight that the judges happened to liked Robbie's pressure more, but i think clean punching gets it.

@@Bruins-vq5ey Yes, that's a possible score. In the 8th round Mills Lane took a point away from Duran for low blows.
