are you referring to how it's Medea's dance of vengeance and "something else" which is most curiously mixed with it? I've been fascinated on 'exactly' how this was done since I first heard it, the harmonies, I mean, they... I can't even tell IF they clash, different keys seem to suddenly appear, and it would be interesting to determine whether one of them is affecting the other's notes or vice versa, I mean, like at 9:58, if's F minor, and... something else (can't even fully tell what,) or is it something else and F minor, meaning are the notes from the something affecting the f minor notes, I mean, their harmonic interpretation/which one is supposed to be the foreground/background, etc (I had a jazz arranging teacher as me that in undergrad just after I marched when I arranged 'Caravan' and had a countermelody situated as such that it 'almost' seemed it like it was the melody, at the same time as the actual melody (and both of THOSE were in fact in the same key/chords, whereas THIS is far more interesting.)
c ya I can agree with that to an extent. I think both hornlines and books were better than the other in certain parts but both are phenomenal. 2015 is probably a bit more aggressive while 2013 is more thoughtful
Cadets 2013 Percussion won Sanford at Finals, and this was an excellent 3rd place show. The next year, 2014, was the last time Cadets reached the top 3.

I still think this is one of the best cadets hornlines of the 2010s
Now that we are in the 20s, yes. This was definitely one of the best hornlines in general of the teens.

Kevin Pak 2015 had the best book, but the 2013 hornline was better

I think 2015 then this are 2 of the best modern drum corps hornlines (no g bugles) that aren't crown or BD 04
