- Hi guys so we all know that Girls Planet 999 has finally come! So I decided to rank the stages, these are all my personal opinions and which I enjoyed the most. Don’t take it personally.

For some reason this video is getting a lot of views after 2 months lmao…I’m very aware now that fu yaning was evil edited! Along with most of C group.

It's funny because a former participant said that Mnet chose the songs and maybe that explains why many were out of range or had disadvantageous songs.

I don't mean to defend Mnet, but if it is Mnet who chooses the song, it shows that they (the participant) are ready to be idols or not (I mean show how far they train)
@@callmerosee yeh but this was just the introduction tho, so almost no one was ready to be an idol and it also gave mnet a chance to give their favs songs that fit them better
When Yeseo said that "crazy" is not a kind of song that she's confident, I then wonder why would they perform it if they are not confident about it. Now it make sense why.

In a recent interview, FYN has confirmed that she was indeed told to say the sentence "we go up, but you don't" by the masters/director of the show. And she has a tremendous amount of respect for CLC themselves. She even said most c group trainees went up to her to comfort her regarding this issue, they were afraid it'll affect her mental health but she claims that she's brave to gather enough courage to face negative comments about her.
She's indeed mnet's sacrificial lamb and deserves better.

Siren trainee didn’t sleep for 48 hours before she stepped on the stage. Her vocal range is definitely amazing if you take a look at her other stages.
girl can sing opera if she had more than 2 sips of water and full energy she would have done so much better

For the Siren, XuZiyin (the trainee) said that she was one of the last (3rd before the last) for performing. She also said that she doesn’t sleep since 30 hours and eat for 12 hours sorry my bad english
Indeed, im very sad for ruada, but mnet is very cruel, i think that is the way korean industry works, and gain a lot of popularity
that performance wasn't so good but she got one of the best voices in the show honestly and it's sad that she got sick and left or maybe she would be among the top9

They won't let them choose them songs so it won't ruin mnets plan, the line up is already planned from the start of the show based on popularity. (Yujin and Bayiyh - sorry if her name was wrong, was most likely already chosen before because they know that people will be choosing then and they're the most popular in the show). They could easily show their abilities if they chose their own songs, which is something again mnet doesn't want. They could easily receive discrimination if they Debuted members that aren't based off of voting. In previous shows from mnet, they messed up the voting system so they could Debut the group that they want, not what the people want.
@@z.6480 Yes, I know it and I agree with you. That's why since the beginning Xiaoting was the only one chinese that they were trying hard to the koreans liked. They already hated that there is a chinese in the group but "at least" its Xiaoting and she's pretty. But what I meant was that I really wanted to see they doing what they're good with, it would be so nice to see that. I'm sure that Ziyin would be a BLAST. She also said that she spends all the record (?) without drinking water, I bet that if she was hidrated and with a song she knew, she would have done better.
The possibility that MNET only gave water to the girls they wanted to do well, is super scary to me.

3:16 actually I think Lee Hyewon did the best out of them, her vocals were really stable and her dance was good. But as with the other 3, the downside was just a lack of facial expressions.

Hyewon was so good, her vocals were insanely clean onstage. But yeah Bahiyihh for one is pretty stable but lacks any sort of stage presence besides the association w her brother tbh. She needs to work on her facials a lot

you might want to correct the Helicopter part, it was said to be scripted by some trainees. to add on, she was heavily evil edited. you'll find out in the end that yujin and yaning are actually really close

@@colourfulpinks1939 wait no, i'm not asking people to like her, but more like inform others about this misunderstanding. also about the racist thing, i know she speaks fluent english but she learn that in China. i will just assume that she isn't aware of american slangs because majority of Chinese weren't taught about those stuff and also she did apologise about it. Chinese people aren't usually too update about slangs in the world because of the social media exposure they get, it's different from the rest of the world.

fu yaning mentioned later in an interview that she respects clc and at that stage it was all edited to make the atmosphere look tense but it was all normal and she even became really close to yujin during the show she also mentioned that after she saw how the edited version made her get alot of hate she started to cry shes such a sweetheart i blame mnet
plus she's really talented, I personally liked her better in ywy2 bc of no evil edit.
I was waiting criticism in helicopter stage, not criticism on Fu yaning for something outside the stage :/

My favorite demo stage is definitely the wow things stage, these girls had FANTASTIC chemistry and as you mentioned look like an already debuted group, hyerim was also my favorite vocal out of the whole show, can anyone actually believe no one of these girls made it to the debut line up, not even after the 2nd elimination, I'm madddd
Honestly, out of the 4 members, most of them do not have much vote support from the viewers despite 3 out of 4 members were already debuted idol previously. I am surprised that Doah did not go further on gp999 as Doah was a participant on both Produce 48 and Girls Planet 999, and even her entrance on episode 1 on gp999 was praised so much by other trainees.
When SU RUI QI is THIS talented. And she didn’t debut.

in mr chuu, hyewon voice is stable too, imo she's more stable than bahiyyih

Personally, Su Rui Qi reminds me of Moonbyul and Solar combined. Solar, Moonbyul, and Su Rui Qi all have amazing vocals. I'm devastated she didn't make it into Kep1er; she was one of my favs.

apparently many of the trainees hadn’t slept in a really long time and they were exhausted (xu ziyin said on her live) so they couldn’t perform their best
fu yaning was forced to say hateful things as she explained in an interview and i dont believe anyone would be arrogant during competitions-

20. I know her from Youth with you 2, if anyone wants to debate, I will get aggressive. Her vocal range, sustainability and breath control are amazing. She couldn't sing here, because she hadn't slept for 30+ hours and only had 2 sips of water before going on stage (she said so, you can look it up). Her dance is on point as well and I can tell you from experience that singing loud headvoice/falsetto with a dry throat is beyond difficult, almost impossible. Ugh I just wanted her to debut so badly, she's amazing

but under those circumstances it's acceptable
Remember that all trainees actually met each other beforehand because they had to be assigned songs and divide parts and practice together for these intro performances. Everything was planned
Fu yaning said in a live that she was told to say that line which is why she did so, and the girl that sang Siren also stated in a live that she was told to sing that song and when she asked to change it (again) she was told she couldn't
Its so funny to me how shows make the contestants do this and later when they become idols companies make them sing with pre-recorded lives
Seungeun was the best solo for me and wow thing girls were just another level. They were flawless.

long after this video was posted I want to clarify that the staff forced Yaning to say that to Yujin. She did not intend, and because of that evil edit Yenny could not debut, since her image was badly damaged (just like Cai bing)
everyone stood out in "crazy", just a few trainings in each individual but theyre basically perfect and idol-like already
For mr chu I found Hyewon most stable
and thought wow thing should be way higher
also Bubble pop feels it should be a bit lower (Yujin is my bias though)

right!! i loved the twins so much, i can't wait to see what they do in the future. they were so cute together and the way they had never been apart ahh >_< it was so sad when one of them was voted off and one stayed on, they both cried so hard. i miss them!
fu yaning was actually a victim of mnet editing. She came on live and explained the situation. Apparently, she had no choice in what she said, and yujin's reaction was actually good-natured

She worked really hard, please try to listen to her new somg Phoenix (about her hardships) and her old songs especially "See The Light" she's such a gem 🥹🫶🏻💍
I don't blame you for writing it in the video, as many people don't know (and how will we ever learn if nobody gives us the heads up?) so it's a common misconception about the song. But just a heads up-- "Whatta Man" is actually NOT originally by Salt and Pepa + En Vogue! They were actually covering Linda Lyndell's song "What a Man" from the 1960's!! So, we've had many artists now, across various generations + from many backgrounds reimagine the song and it's very cool
Dumdi Dumdi duo was one of the best and Pop stars was extremely good and one of the best
blackpink songs are really hard to cover, because you have to know whenever you need to give it all and when to chill. when the best drops you have give out pure power into it then comeback soft. I'm really impressed with the boombayah team.
Pop Stars was the best performance for me. Dayeon killed it and I'm so dissapoited Suyeon didn't debut

actually in most talent shows like this, auditionees cannot chose and perform the song they want. the program/producers chose for them. it was mentioned on one of get real podcast episode with heejun.
+ the girls themselves explained that they just received the songs and tried to suck it with all their best

They did not lose anything.
Suyeon (or now known as Sheon) debuted in Billlie, she even debuted before Kep1er.
Yeyoung finally escaped BBC and debuted along with another gp999 trainee Ryu Sion with the group Geenius on January 2024.
Well, Mnet explained why they did not give Dayeon the top 9 sticker on the interim evaluation of How You Like That team 2 on episode 3 and started Dayeon redemption arc from Ice Cream performance on Combination Mission of gp999 on episode 6.

Black Mamba voicecrack its true though, i would put that perfomances like top 16 just because on Jeongmin and Yunji being queens, because if just Chaehyun perfomed this and failed the highnote, this would be 26 probably
gotta point out that yeseo was really professional in that performance, her mic fell down because she was dancing so hard, yet she without even noticing hid the mic into her pocket
Twinkle girls are top tier vocalists of the show tho
Mr Chu Team actually all are stable except for one girl(and Hyewon is the most stable of that time and who have the most star quality)
Fun fact that The contestants can’t choose their own song,Mnet have a choice to give a easier song to The more favorable contestant

there is one thing that i saw in a video where a Chinese person said that they pur fake subs in yanings part and she didn't actually say that they were better than clc, she said that they have a different aura but still cannot beat clc. also the fact that a lot of people said that the parts where yaning looked more confident was only edited in to make her look arrogant so idk

2 months late here but, the girls (contestants) couldn’t chose the songs. It was chosen for them. Im sure a majority of people know that by now.
Fu Yaning said after the show she was forced to say something rude to Yujin and that was the least offensive thing she could have said. And Yujin and her are good friends now
i felt sorry for those who perform itzy's wanna be, twice's can't stop me and twinkle. Bruh those are hard asf considering they aren't the one who choose the songs

Did you follow her on CLC? Experienced idol does not necessarily mean they are better skilled than less experienced trainees.
7:23 actually the ver aired on gp999 is the correct one and they actually auto tuned her voice in this version so it doesn’t sound as bad. She’s super talented but mistakes happen!

I'm pretty sure the girls didn't pick their own songs, which means Mnet essentially got to give all the trainees they didnt like whatever songs would make them look bad. That and a lot of the trainees had been up for over 30 hours by the time they preformed. Also, I think the girl who did the main highnote in the Twinkle performance had the power for the song, she just doesn't have the proper training to hit the right note in a stable way. Oh and I really liked the Maria stage. Their vocals are shakey, but that song is so powerful I can understand why.
