    If I made granny squares that are being stitched together I would block them on a marked blocking board to make sure they are all exactly the same measurements.

    I like your idea of putting a little soap in the first rinse
    I actually blocked a little wall hanging today and let it dry outside..we’re having a heat wave so it took no time to dry
    Blocking is actually quite relaxing to do
    Great tutorial and take care ❤️🇨🇦

      It is relaxing I agree, I really enjoy taking the time. I'm happy you enjoyed the video! Thank you. Stay hydrated in your heat wave. We've got the same here in Hungary 🥵

    This is so helpful! I'm super new to blocking, and in a lot of articles I've read they reccomend steam for blocking acrylic instead lf just water. Have you tried steam or might you know if one is more effective than the other? Thanks so much!

      I've not tried steam as water works perfectly for me and is much easier imo ☺️

    I make a lot of granny afghans, but I've never blocked the squares before. Once they are sewn together do the stay blocked wash after wash?

      I'd imagine like any washed garment you'll want to pull it into shape when it's damp, it's like reblocking in a way. Having the squares joined will help though to keep the individual squares in shape when washed.

    Thank you for all your tutorials. I learned to crochet from you! I was wondering if you could make a kawaii frog and make a tutorial? I dont know how, so it would be useful! Thank you!

      Squeezing has no effect on the square as you can see, maybe with wool fibre it wouldn't be a good idea. It depends on the fibre.

    Do you have tutorials for those squares you've made? I especially liked the first three from the previously blocked pile, but I'm betting I'll like them all. You mentioned a book though, are the patterns specifically reserved for the book? If so, what is the title? You do beautiful work💕

    • @HappyBerryCrochet
      @HappyBerryCrochet  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yes these squares are reserved for my book coming out later this year so no tutorials at present. They'll be 50 in total if all goes well. I have a web page where you can drop your email address for book updates on release at www.happyberry.co.uk/book ☺️
      And thank you! That's very kind.
