Little tip: gold bars are much more valuable in their bar form rather than scrapping them into individual gold components. You're better off selling them for caps.

Sentinel Winters i found a magazine of guns and bullets and it was written on it street boston guns or some thing like that but the point is that the cover was showing a pipe pistol so i think that pipe pistol were guns used by some gangs in boston before the great war and its still used after the great war
That is assuming you are the first person in the Bank... Imagine someone in 200 years may have used the Bank for their own gains to be stored such as pipe pistols etc and why did he not take the money? Post war the value of money is 0 only 200 years later is it worth anything as is uncirculated the new currency is bottlecaps mainly which explains why the person post war that stored the pipe guns did not loot the pre war money when he decided to use the Bank as store for his stuff... Which you then looked however many years later.. Bit in depth i know but this way does plausable reason to why there is post war shit in a pre war vault.. And doesnt ruin the game.. :) ps i also calculated that the post war chap may not have taken the pre war money but WOULD have taken GOLD... But as he said GOLD respawns...
In the last location, the X-01 power armour is generated depending on your character's level. Many low levels have been in there and looted a different type of power armour. I was level 60+ when I looted the place and I had a full set of X-01 there.

I personally that the crashed plane in the glowing sea was very good due to the fact that it contains a gauss rifle and some other stuff. I got lucky and got two gauss rifles.
Starting strong with Bridgeway Trust, nice. Prior to that you loot a bank robbery site in Lexington, a bit east of the Super Duper Mart. There's 100+ Pre-war Money in a duffle bag, plus more loose bundles on the ground and in the blasted vault. There's another smaller lockroom nearby building with an Advanced terminal that houses a safe for more loot. It's a good way to make money before you can hack into Bridgeway Trust. For Fallon's Department Store do be sure to check out the parking garage adjoining the building. That "fun house" is definitely worth checking out. It's a great source for certain materials like Copper, Steel, and Springs; similar to how Jamaica Plain offers a lot of crystal and fiber optics. Usually one of the Ghouls will be Legendary too.
The basement in Sanctuary is not bad when you are beginning and can easily be missed. It contains gold bars and other goodies - a great way to have money early to buy Chao blade or spray n' pay ;)
for the Teagan room it also turns out that the stuff laying around you can grab (not pick up) and carry it to a far corner where no Prydwen people can see you. then you can pick it up and have it not count as stealing, or at least not make the whole ship go after you. found a youtube video of it and it worked. it allowed me to get the gauss rifle

I watched this video around a week ago, I went to the first location collected ALL the loot and came back today, I found EVERYTHING still in place, so everything respawns, not just the gold bars, even the stuff in the safes

my best location, Gunners Plaza, coupled with the Fortune Finder and Scrounger perks + BOS Technical Documents. I go through it after it restocks, find usually 3000+ caps, 20 odd technical documents, hundreds of bullets of each type, it's just so good, sometimes in ammo boxes I even find fusion cores and mini nukes (love it when that happens)
There are certain areas good for certain things as well. Want Gauss Rifles, some modded? Go to the downed airliner in the Glowing Sea. Shotgun Shells? Coast Guard base has a minimum of 80 plus other loot. Want a good mix of booze + chems? Shamrock Taphouse. Building material? Hardware Town. I'll note that at higher levels the ammo boxes usually spawn fusion cores about half the time for me. Either on the ground floor of the warehouse or high up on the shelves of it by walking across the boards. Only place that seems to happen that regularly.
The cool thing about the La Coiffe hairstyle magazines is you unlock a secret third hairstyle if you collect the two magazines. You get the hairstyles from the two magazines and a third secret hairstyle that goes great on male characters
+TwoDynamic On the pridwin, there is a better way to get inside, use fists, use vats target the guy behind the counter, activate to try and hit him but stop mid hit so you don't, and you will be behind the counter, still need to sneak to steal, but you don't need to lock pick.
Just one correction, the power armor is dependent on your level. I did the at level 7 and it weren't x-01 but a t-45 power armor. Just a fair warning for any one looking for x-01 Armor.
also i was screaming at my phone "the tension trigger!" at the diamond city one and also it is spelt prydwen just for future referance however i will admit i and y are dangerously close together on the keyboard
with the BOS trader dude there's a way to glitch into the room, take your fists out (or melee weapon) and go into V.A.T.S. "attack" him but before you actually hit him exit V.A.T.S. and there if done right your in the room
for the prydwen armory just target him in vats with your fist then cancel when your about to punch if you wanna get out WAIT for one of the bos soilders to pass by then do the same thing.
The 'fancy hairbrush' is made of 1 plastic and 2 silver. 25 of them is equal to one plastic (25) shipment and two silver (25) shipments. The cost of those three shipments from traders is 1575 caps. The cost of 25 'fancy hairbrush' bought from traders is 275 caps. Shipments are a huge rip-off - buy junk, not shipments. .

Small tip - when you find a PA suit DO NOT walk away from it to explore the location further and return later as all of the armor plates may vanish and leave just a bare frame. Take the plates off as soon as you find it - there is usually a repair frame nearby to put them back on again once you are ready to take the suit. .
with proctor teagan ' s room, if you un equip all weapons, go into vats target Tegan, execute the attack, just before he punches Tegan back out of vats and it will teleport you into the room. no master hacker/lockpick required
The locksmith perk maxed out means u only need one bobby pin forever..its so handy for safes advanced and up..i know these safes are valuable for money and rare materials..i just forgot they where there and never thought to look up secret loot rooms and such..thanks.

On the off chance no one else had mentioned it previously here, you dont even need to hack the terminal or pick the lock at all to gain access to the armory on the Prydwen A trick that I learnt from some youtube videos is to go into fats with no weapon equipped and target Proctor Tegan with VATS. Once you've selected him as a target to punch, start the VATS auto attack but before you fully throw a punch press Tab (or whatever your console button is to pull up the pip boy). This will stop the attack completely so you dont chip his health if you do it right and you will then appear inside of the armory. From there just maintain stealth as you loot the room however you can/choose. To get back out, theres an NPC that walks by the shop window every now and again so just wait a moment and do the same thing you did with VATS and canceling to escape PS, I might be wrong, but I think pulling up the pip boy mid animation from drinking any dirty water stops you from actually drinking it. Again I'm not 100% sure but its something I started doing after the first time it happened by accident to me and I want to believe its been sparing me unnecessary rad gains when trying to loot stuff thats fallen into water lol. Hope at least one of these tips helps you fellow wastelanders!
You forgot one and I think it should be on this list but sadly I don’t remember the name of the place but I remember its details the place was near the ocean it was a town in the past half of in is kind sinking and large White House half sinked and there is a miralk nest sorry maybe I spelled that wrong but anyway the place was a old abandoned settlement with shops and a farm and a bank too in side the bank there is a vault in the vault there is a couple of safes in side one there is a button if you press it the wall of the vault will open revealing a hidden prewar lab in the on the table there two legendary energy rifles another detail of the place in the middle of the compound there is. a wheat farm and a lot of sleeping synth that you will have to fight hope this helped
theres an EPIC loot locale in fallout 4 go to diamond city go to arturos shop and check the ammo boxes and you can find 4 mini nukes in there order to get it you need to become hostile to diamond city only kill people with guns so they regenerated and spawn normaly after you leave the game but need to nick and piper to other locale because you dont want them to be hostile to right?

theres an EPIC loot locale in fallout 4 go to diamond city go to arturos shop and check the ammo boxes and you can find 4 mini nukes in there order to get it you need to become hostile to diamond city only kill people with guns so they regenerated and spawn normaly after you leave the game but need to nick and piper to other locale because you dont want them to be hostile to right?

Those gold bars are worth more than ten of those cranberry sheds. The loot in that shed is miniscule when you think about the actual value.

On PC the Cranberry supply shed doesn't respawn the loot
I went too this place before then I got a hacking module because my character isn't a hacker the bank-
If you go to the roof in Fallons Dept Store you can find a fusion core and more common loot
I kicked it and jammed metal in the generators and it just says it mysteriously fixed itself
I think in videos like these it would really help if you had your PipBoy light on so we could see better ^_^
