I just had this happen to me. Verizon just shipped me a replacement the next day. No questions, no cost. On an 1800 dollar phone
I work at Verizon and I always feel great when i can order a free replacement for people 😊 glad you were taken care of!

How long did it take for this to happen to your screen?
My screen just started doing this. I have to slide my finger down the crease to "push" the air pocket out from under the factory screen protector. I'm hearing rumors about a tri-folding Galaxy phone coming, so I am trying to wait until the new phones are announced. If my screen was as bad as the one in this video, I would have to upgrade immediately, which would be HORRIBLE because whichever Galaxy I purchased now would be obsolete by the end of the year. Hopefully, mine lasts 🤞🏾
The bubbling is just a screen protector which you can peel off but the black part in this video is the actual screen which is damaged.
yes there will no issue happen if we remove screen protector i am using my flip 4 from last 6month without screen protector and its working absolutely fine
Take it to samsung store they will replace the screen protector for free takes them 30mins u have to book in though ... its free cause its a factory default happend to me ...
@@liambunt I was trying to start an insurance claim but they said they would just send me the newer model for $100!
They also said I could keep the old one for $399 but I declined.
They were nice about it as well. No back and forth or anything. I guess they are tired of replacing the screen protectors.

Never buy Fold and Flip phones. If you want a Samsung Flagship Phone, just go with S23 Ultra. It's much better and it has S-Pen as well
Same here. First it was a small Black point in the Center then a white line and then it looks like yours. Expensive crap. Was my second and last fold.

My fold 3 experienced the same issue four days after the warranty expired. When I contacted Samsung, they said they couldn't help me but wanted to point me towards one of their locations for an in-person repair. When I checked, the phone I had already paid $2700 after taxes for was going to cost over $900 to fix.
The identical thing happened to my screen before spreading to the entire display. Now, there is no internal display at all.
Samsung This is an awful move on such an expensive phone, if you read this. But we are aware that the corporate Giants don't care.

How did it happened do you use the z fold normally or did you drop it or something like that because i just got mine yesterday
@@piehaxyt8133 it was just from usual workings. It stopped opening fully, and was shy of opening 180 degrees. The angle then slowly got worse, and as the phone was opening, a little kind of dead pixel appeared, that got worse and worse, until the the phone became unusable
Tengo un FOLD4 hace un año eso nunca me pasó hace un mes le saque el cover flex de protección porque tienden a durar 1 año como cualquier cover q se desgasta con el uso.... El error es dejarle el cover y seguirlo usando, ademas de que no lo usas con funda y lo cerras como si fuera un libro o cualquier cosa! asi nada te va a durar, que queres que te diga....
Y antes de este FOLD 4 tuve 1 año el FLIP 3 excelente movil igual q este se lo pase a mi mamá esta encantada y exactamente al año le saque el cover a ella tambien por desgaste simplemente es despegarlo y listo.... Si se lo dejas es obvio que la tierra se va a pegar y dañar el display es cuestión de lógica.... Hace 1 año que ella lo tiene sin cover flex y esta impecable 0 daños de pantalla.... Igual se puede comprar un flex nuevo y colocarlo si queres mas protección es a tu gusto!

No, it's not, fool. First thing, if you add screen protector they will be cut out for the front camera. Second, that's how foldable screen made, there's thin plastic layer on top of it, it came out of the box, that thin plastic was not a fvcking screen protector, it's a part of the screen itself

No one talks about how the screenprotector gets a bubble in the crease and the pressure from the air bubbles breaks the screen because it's very thin glass and that's why you always see a bubble on the screenprotector when the screen is broken in the middle like that, easy fix, you see a small bubble forming simply remove the screenprotector and apply a new one or raw dog it 😏

just remove the screen protector once you see a peeling. if you let the peeling reaches to a degree like in the vid where it start to pressure on the screen then this is the result

My partners fold 3 is 1 month from its warranty expiry. The right hand screen is dead . There's a black line down the middle. Samsung aren't interested. Simply it's a load of crap. Apparently this is a known fault. Currently half a million users in this situation. Buy something else.
Damn I was looking through TH-cam videos and seen a lot of ads , advertisement makes these phones as if they are the best invention in history , no one mention these issues , what a disappointment, thank god I came across this video and ur comment .

If you I folding your phone over 100x a day your gonna lose 2 years of life If I had a fold it will likely be kept open until I need to close it reduce opening and closing to less than 5 folds a day
