So people know , raising the top is a lot easier with one arm, up and down, while sitting in the seat ! You don't have to get in and out to operate this. In fact it's so easy it can be done while driving and you don't have to be strong to do it.
I do prefer it when the camera faces forward and at the road mainly because it feels like we're seeing how the car drives, like from the car's perspective. You're not the only one that has the camera pointed to you though, so nothing wrong or weird with that. Definitely no need to spend a bunch of money until you get bigger though. You can also get a $20 clip and clip it to the rear wind deflector piece too. Since the car is so short, that should sell be close enough to see in front of the car
Got my 23’ mx5 club a month ago....updated the exhaust 2 weeks later, with the Goodwin Racing Race pipe.....night and day improvement, and less than $500!
Exhaust does look like an afterthought I replaced mine after week two ! I think it's a goodwin racing if I remember right . The quiet touring exhaust .
regarding MPG, I have driven the Natchez Trace Parkway, a federal scenic road connecting Natchez, MS and Nashville, TN. I have a 2021 GT with six speed manual, and I am getting 35.7 MPG.
It’s a amazing car, it’s the driving experience not the horsepower, it’s like driving a go cart when you’re an adolescent. It brings the fun factor to life. It has all the necessary tech to live in the here and now. The manual STICK ‘is the only way to go.The GT I find superior to the other trims ..The Ricardo seats hurt my A** tail bone after a hour .....but the plushy GT SEATS ARE NICE 👍🏽.
Dual split exhaust would over promise and not stay true to the nostalgic heritage that inspires this vehicle. I don't think they want to appear like all others.
Yeah I noticed that in mine . I don't like it but not really a deal-breaker . It has a different infotainment screen then a cx30 for instance . The car also seems more planted and safe than my old one . Less squirelly .
There ia a third way to open the booth. There should be a button located just above the number plate. Just press it to open, but you must have the hey nearby. I just bought one for my 50th Birthday here in Australia. The Australian version do not have shark fin antenna or the integrated garage opener. The top soft top model is the MX 5 Roadster GT RS. Value around $52,000. The one I just bought. It come with BBS wheels, Brembo brake, Belstein Shocks, engine brace and wireless apple carplay and usb plug Android Auto
The GT have the shark fin antenna, because they come with satellite radio. The club/GSP version of the car only has the rod antenna because they don't have satellite radio. If the car has black mirrors , that is the club/GSP sport performance version. You can also add the performance brake /suspension/seats package on top.
He's right, the car always feels like your going 20 klm/hr faster at all times. You will mostly realize your at the speed limit almost all the time but feel like your breaking it.
I get just over 40mpg but I have the 1.5 (not sure I you have that option in US and Australia). Comparing mpg, is a bit of a muddy issue. In the UK our standard petrol is 95 octane, this is equivalent to about 91 the way you measure it in America. If you are running it on 87-90 it won't be as efficient. Then you have to account for a US gallon being smaller than an imperial gallon. The beauty of the engine is it is happy at low speeds, and low revs and will happily cruise as low as 40mph in top gear, or you can rev it to 7,000 with power all the way up.

There are 3 WAYS to open the trunk. Not 2. There is a button hidden up under to the top right of the rear license plate.

I find the Recaro great , although liveable they are a little narrow on the thighs and I'm an average weight.

Agree with you regarding the rear lights, they look alright but could've been made more aggressive instead of being cute.
Next time point out the 2 cubbies behind the seats. Hidden storage as there isn't much storage in this car but these are quite useful.

Soft top is not only a GT option. It's available across all trims.

Definitely . It's like a bobsled . It does feel like it's geared low too except for six gear . I'm mostly in 5th gear in the city .
