I built a Bonnie chopper in the early 80's. A Shipmate wrecked his Triumph 650 Bonneville while drunk. I purchased it and paid it out of the impound lot. I ordered a chopper kit that were cheap back then. I built it on the ship I was stationed on and completed it while at sea. I rode it a couple of months and then was offered a stupid amount of cash for it and stupid me took it. I wish I had it back now!

No shit my son was born in 96 I just realized I’ll be 50 next October time to buy my mid life crisis bike I see a cvo limited in my future .
Chey is only 2 years older than my own daughter. Yeah, I started early. But, it gives me faith in the younger generation. Especially for the girls. Rarity to see young ladies that motivated about bikes. Very epic!

Dude! Never heard of this program! I saw this repeatedly when I was young. Had many close friends age out is group homes. Quite literally got evicted for their 18th birthday. Happy to hear about this program!

I'm from Stonyplain Alberta Canada (The south of the north). You've inspired me to buld my own 79 xs. watched the whole build series... when I get it built my goal is to ride down to Florida. Keep doing what you're doing.

I do love that chopper, I think I figured out why I like your channel so much I find it very relaxing and calming to watch.
As an Englishman, we don't have an analogue for biscuits and gravy, because to us this dish contains neither biscuits or gravy. However, having eaten this American staple a few times, I can assure my fellow Brits that they are fricking delicious. The only way I can describe the dish, is a couple of big savoury scones covered in a thick creamy slightly peppery white sauce, proper sticks to your ribs food 👍

Never had a bike without a kicker on it until I got those two twin cams I sold. I plan to put a kicker on my 98 FLSTF since no kicker seems just wrong. It took me an hour to get out of Bradenton-Sarasota to find a back road to ride on. Back in the mid 80's all I had to do was ride out on St. RT 70 until I crossed new 301 and your were in the country. Now it is 30 minutes pass i-75.

I’ve got a 75 t160 trident that I dearly love. I had a feeling electric bike were gonna be a thing but never did I ever thing Harley would build one. Surprised it hasn’t broken down yet. Man I like that 66 Bonnie and that rocket three on this channel. The 50s triumph is amazing too. I love seeing play the brands on here.

The xs650 chopper build is what got me to subscribe, all you need for an air filter is a cheap respirator filter on the end of your carb, I got a bright pink one on my bobber

Josh -- I like the fact that you run a front brake on your chopped XS 650. You'll get 'em (the brakes) right. I appreciate the stance of your Yam chop. I'd like to see someone do up a chopper build video involving a Yamaha Bolt. I know -- it takes a lot of money and time (planning) to undertake that kind of a project. It's just a thought anyway. Choppers por vida! Build right. Ride safe.

Her content is excellent and I love her sense of humor. She is a great kid. In 1995 I was halfway through a six year tour in the Marines. She was just a wee baby. 😂👍

Hey Josh, a great mixture of things in this video. The part I liked was the Yamaha 650 chopper. I owned one back in the late 70’s. Rebuilt one up from the ashes literally. They were/are a strong engine that don’t know when to quite.

Chey "i was born in 1995" I graduated high school and Army basic training in 95 lol. A hurricane hit FL and GA that year , knocked out the power in the barracks. we had to shave and such by flash lights for about 2 weeks. i was at Fort Benning btw. the food looked good. you all always eat at cool places. glad to see the chopper again. good vid

The day after getting our chopper built, my dad took it for a maiden sketch filled voyage across town. Pulled up next to a cop. No mirror, which is required to have 2 of, and no turn signals, also required. Pulled up, stopped, bike died. Sat there and kicked it, finally started back up, and he pulled away. Somehow, no ticket. Then again, cops don't seem to care about motorcycles around here.

My uncle had a BSA rocket III chopper when I was a little guy. Dad gave me rides up and down the road with it. Apparently I burnt my hand on one of the 3 headers. I remember the bike and the rides and that I burnt my hand. He sold it as a basket case. It had the dual headlights, rectangle. Brown and orange paint of the era. Would love to find that bike.
