Yet again another extremely helpful video for me as I only play with 3 other friends, I have to make all of our missions and setup our server so having these videos to add to my missions and immersion in game really helps me out and keeps my friends having fun as well. Keep up the great videos!
As a super fresh noob to Arma your uploads have helped a lot in showing what the game is capable of and what great mods are out there saved me a lot of time going through the workshop, forums and different channels loads of great stuff in one spot 🤟

I've recently come across your channel and I've been enjoying your content. I know you tend to focus on air assets as your main interest but may I suggest looking at antistasi as a change of pace. Persistent campaign as guerrillas working up to full fledged force retaking various maps. It became my go to for arma

Hey Viper, great video man! Just wanted to let you know that if you have ACE3 active, ACE3 actually already had incremental door opening mechanics for awhile. Key binding is hold control + space bar. You should hear an audible click and then use scroll wheel. Alternatively, another shortcut to opening doors quicker instead of scrolling on them is Control + Space bar. The mod would only be needed if ACE3 isn't being used :)

Am really impressed, the ARMA 3 addons - are totally different to what I used to play "back in the day", used to play Operation Flashpoint then did each addon campaigns, used to love the Ballsitic Addon Studios packs, they were awesome then, we knew a few ppl who actually got to use VBS1 (we would have loved the extras they got then), though came a little later.
I don't get chance to play much ARMA 3 / though have done a little, totally impressed with what's changed, Viper1Zero - you've got some passion for this / look after this wife / has to be a special lady!
I'm in awe of what people have done to ARMA 3 / it's totally different (did not like some of the game play / think you've got it covered in teh 15 realism mods, my old crew would have loved to have played the original ARMA then with this level of detail, the reviews show great passion for the game.

Only just got a gaming pc after 5+ yrs of wanting one so now waiting for arma to download and the like 100gb+ of mods to finish downloading. So happy for this game to actually hopefully run okay on decent settings.

It's the M4 w/ Carryhandle in the RHS USAF mod. RHS has fantastic weapons and textures. Their Russian AFRF Mod is amazing too, as well as GREF. Definitely check them all out!

BTW , Great vid!!! could you go back and clarify the Blastcore, Hopecore and warfx.
Blastcore has a name change and there are soooo many tweeks to the original its difficult to figure out which works and is compatible and how to get those amazing particle effects.
Gotta have those particles and black smoke towers!!!

Excellent video, def some mods I will try tonight. Suggestion: how about a top list of mods that fix problems with Arma. One I saw here with the windows, maybe there is one to replace the action menu, or getting stuck in animations while under fire.
Thats an interesting idea. I'll keep an eye out for mods that fix game mechanics.

Thanks for sharing with us the new awesome immersion mods they all are so cool. But the newer vr of "WarFx" is sooo sexy 💓💥
Especially at night it gives that realistic red brown grey color as the smoke rises and burns oil and has now the same or a much better lighting of flame and coocking of a dead material ( like the main blastcore, not the fake yellow of phoenix2 or etc..).. I hope the modder moves on enhancing that cool mod and maybe give more samples of Ground bomb, coz the phoenix2 it had also the nice dust/ sand/ ground material destroy FX. Here I saw via this clip and since a very long time again in my gameplaying an awesome very cool new Ground Bomb explosion with tons of black smoke ( oil ) that now has a realistic velocity / speed of explosion and spreading cool through many mtrs away and through the air ( like in RL) and the cool thing is ,not dropping FPS like blastcore the main or phoenix2. So now I tested many times blastcore with this new one and and I hope it includes and the phoenix 2 dust/ ground color and as another sample that enormous terrifying black oil explosion smoke that slowly slowly turns in to grey and light grey and then follows a great dust fog in the area nearby ! The other samples especially at night needs fixing, but at least this new sample of new vr. explosion is so so nice!!
Oh I almost forget : It has the most Realistic even from vanilla sample of coocking smoke and visual screen animation. I hope this great guy moves on enhancing the power of this mod, its really something that turns my interest back in the game ☺️

You have the option to choose the white phosphor or the default :)

Incremental door opening can be done with Ace enabled. Simply aproach a door and hold left ctrl + space bar and use your mouse wheel
Not everyone uses ACE, which is why I included that mod in this video.
Maybe do a conclusion video where you throw all the mods into one modpack and make a video on it with a comparison between modded and vanilla arma

Really like your reviews, do you have a recommendation for servers to play preferably,one that uses mods like USAF?
James Hamell I honestly don’t, you’d have to join a unit that runs those mods regularly.
Im considering starting a discord and running a server myself using primarily USAF mod and Firewills aircraft as a training server for flyers. Not sure when but would need to vet those coming in so idiots don’t ruin it for those that want to formation fly, run good comms, etc.
@@Viper1Zero I was on the other day and people were in a gunship just tking :/ and admin didnt do anything lol. But that be a cool server idea. Main thing holding me back from really getting into a unit, is being stationed in South Korea extremely difficult to get,in sync with timezones lol.

Is there a server in Arma 3 that has most of these mods? or just a server with several tactical mods suited to the mindset of the server runners way of play, I don't have Arma 3 yet, but plan to get it, i would just like to play in servers with these kinds of mods since from what i heard the base game needs some work.

regarding number 4, you don't actually need it since if you got ace and hold the spacebar + left ctrl and use the scroll wheel you can open the door manually and slowly
True, but not everyone uses ACE. And apparently sliding the doors open is now in the base game. I had no idea.
Be carful with the headlamps mod we ran some tests on our dedicated server and in mp the mod simply just doesn’t work the lights source lags behind the player when moving left or right but for single player the mod is awesome.
Do you only use ARMAFXP or do you use ARMAFXP paired with blastcore and hopecore?

I know im late to the party but theres a cool mod with pretty realistic rebreathers by the name of C.O.S by Sakuraba
So which is preferred for most folks: ArmaFXP or blastcore/Hopecore?
I would want the headlight mod to have IR light so i can use my nightvision effectively. With Ace it is very dark ( i like the added darkness. But reallife NV goggles often times have their own little IR lightsource
I do like the mods good sir i do appreciate it and continue what you do and I do request to do in your next mod packs that makes the game realistic to do Iran vs ISIS or Iran vs Iraq with the mods and show gameplay with this good sir Thank you once again!

Whats a good mod that allows you to use flashlight and laser pointer at the same time. And also have you heard anything about advanced laser designator on armaholic for me it a good mod but can't get it to work
9:47 Damn that action menu is cluttered af... I wish there was a way to bind some of those to shortcuts and get them out of the action menu list.
Many can be bound, but it doesn't remove them from the menu unfortunately :/

What f 18 mod are you using on the Nimitz it looks very realistic and detailed in the cockpit
F/A-18E/F Super Hornet mod by TeTeTe3, John Spartan and Saul
ACE has the incremental door option in it by default. I have this option and I don't run the mod you recommended. Just so you're aware.
A lot of people don't run ACE like you do, which is why I included the mod.
@Viper1Zero, at 2:56 you've got the M2 HMGs with holo sites. Which mod is this from? Been searching for a while and cant find anything

Honestly have no idea, i've not had that problem occur. How are you selecting it? In the editor? Or in Zeuz while in game?
@@Viper1Zero in the BI virtual arsenal. Before and during a mission. I tried disinstalling and reinstalling the mod but the problem is still there...
building a decent PC within the week, whats the Meta game mode for arma 3 now? Overthrow still? Antistassi? Arma 3 life?
Antistasi is still pretty big, and so are Alive servers.
Will these work with the base campaign or is this more just for multiplayer and editor?

Yo ViperZero.. Have you tried the addon called "project injury reactions" i downloaded it from armaholic and its dope man.. Im loving it.. It simulates injuries and reaction to bullet shots.. Pls check it.. Its a must and it changed the gameplay for me.
What are the most realistic DLC's to get for Milsim in Arma 3?
