I was just thinking the same thing. Like if you're in a new town or even your own town stopping by a few different restaurants to try their foods and see the sights. Totally worth it.
That's why I don't like the idea -- eating in a vehicle isn't enjoyable, especially while moving down the road. Hell, I spill all over myself at the kitchen table, let alone while driving down Bump City Boulevard.

You know, this might be a very good idea for a catering/ hospitality business. Bus tours around a city, where stops are made at well-known restaurants, each providing one course to the meal, ranging from simple two course meals to mini banquets of seven or more courses. Diners stay on the bus at each stop, and the menu, such as it is, is fixed, with each stop serving a dish it is known for. Of course, I realise that a great deal of planning and organisation would be needed, but what better way to introduce a country's cuisine to visitors? It might also bring in extra custom for the restaurants involved too, as the bus diners might well choose to visit and eat normally at the place, too.
You should go back to their older videos and watch the spicy noodle challenge. You can hear them talking and joking around with each other about how spicy noodles are. They even have momma Bacon in the video and she even tries the noodles as well. I put the video in the link below. 😊
Wow at first I thought $88 usd was expensive, but that meal was incredible and was probably worth that much without the bus tour. That was a lot of chili powder 5555

Oh wow!! How cool that must have been! We have similar experiences in America. Although instead of a bus we usually use trains as a dining experience. I live in Michigan and in the capital of Michigan there is a real way experienced where you go onto a train car to eat but the train car does not move LOL.

Very interesting and looks like a great time. I would be scared from the movement of the bus and traffic. But, the food looks delicious and the person narrating seems pretty cool and very educational with local landmarks. Tight streets this bus goes thur. Scary for me because I have anxiety. I don't think I could do the bus meal thing. I feel like I'll get sick. But, it does look pretty cool. But, kinda pricey. I guess it's worth it because of the tour of the city's landmarks. Not sure I could eat on that bus while it was swaying. The food looked delicious. I liked they stopped at the restaurant for the Pad Thai. I could see the whole meal served that way with the bus going from restaurant to cafe to restaurant. Each stop at a place with a high reputation for one dish. Thank you for a fantastic tour.
Definitely a unique experience I haven't seen done elsewhere. The driver has probably threaded the needle through those streets hundreds of times so it's probably no longer a challenge to them, I spent 15 years driving buses in Australia and it seemed there was always at least a metre between the bus and any vehicle or building (when the mirrors barely clear stuff then you can panic lol).
Wow that bus driver really knows how to maneuver - I would have been the one to knock more building material off the corner there 😆 The food looked good! A food bus tour sounds great!!

Ah, I saw something similar on ITSUKA JAPAN's channel about a restaurant bus tour in Kyoto. The food looks much more appetizing here, though, and the company is nicer. Hope you and Mrs. Bacons find more experiences like this one in the future!

Eating on a bus while on a tour sounds like fun and unique experience, only with me there would be 2 issues. 1. I like to be engrossed in my food and make conversation with my partner while eating, or listen to a tour gude with no distractions, so... I would either focus on food or on the tour; 2. With my motion sickness I wouldn't survive 1,5 hour. I would either throw up or had to fall asleep after half hour... Especially if I was to ride backwards. I already felt funny inside just from the subtle shakes of your camera xD But good video and great adventure nonetheless :)
