I can totally agree that customs are a lot of hard work, but half the fun is making them. Once you've done a few, you can totally realize why is super high-end ones go for some money, and it's well deserved
Yes I have no creative bone in my body but I can truly appreciate what customizers do
I’ve only ever sold a couple of my customs however customizing is soo much more enjoyable and rewarding than “the hunt”. I tell any collector who will listen they should get into it if they’re not already.

When it comes down to the cost you are really paying for a piece of art and that is what the car is an original and one of a kind and can only go up in value.

Sold my first custom for 90$. Takes lots of time/patience and a hell of alot of money so it definitely feels good knowing someone is willing to buy your one of a kind creations

Over exaggeration! Whats wrong with people, what are we looking at ,its a little snot, a metre away and you cant see it! Buy yourself a beautiful exoto , cmc or bbr model 1/18 scale, worth your money nor this stuff, if you have the $ then its absurd man greed is good i suppose ,shameful !!!

A lot also depends on WHERE you sell. There's many places to. I've seen some good customs from newer customizers on Whatnot sell cars for $75+.

I have very mixed feelings about this video lol I really don’t agree with the whole views=value thing because he’s been around for quite some time and while yes he’s the one to really shed a light on customizing and just how far you can go with these little toy cars that’s not to say that his should be worth more when someone else could potentially be just as good if not better and just not have the platform yet to show it off or sell it. Now don’t get me wrong what he does with his customs and how over the top and intricate they are is mind blowing at times and it’s something I think all of us “customizers” strive to be like. But I would really like to see you go over someone else’s custom as well that’s not nearly as expensive but just as well done and compare the two. Personally I would never pay over 100$ for a custom no matter what it was but again, that’s just me. It is nice to see one of these gone over up close and the whole presentation is very clean and professional as well. I hope I didn’t come off to harsh but being I’ve been customizing over a year or so now I’ve got a decent understanding of the process and amount of work that can go into them regardless of how detailed or over the top that certain thing might be so I’m just trying to get others to understand that just because one thing is time consuming to do doesn’t mean that other easier things aren’t either. Sorry for the long rant but overall this was a nice video and I think helps shed some light on the customizing world! 😎👍🏻

Interesting to call it investing, though I can see your point! I started myself about 4 months ago, thought it would be inexpensive and gratifying. It is neither AND both! To try and replicate this piece from scratch would cost (in the west) £1000. Once you have experience and equipment and supplies, the cost drops to £30-£50 per car your point about being well known is valid, I agree that he is the one. It is probably a good investment, but your risk is still quite high.
Just checked out your channel, it blows! Just another merchant trying to hustle something they have knowledge of. Hot wheels are a toy, if you are an adult, buy them because you love them. Not to ‘win’ at hot wheels collecting.
Great topic and execution as well. What about other artists - ArtAke164 and, on the opposite side, Vidibrowneggo? Totally different schools yet both totally breathtaking.

Gheeez, for something amazing looking, you'd think you would have filmed this in HDR 4k 60fps.
Every customizer is not the same or on the same level basically name is all and price of what some one is willing to pay may nice and less customize cars go for many prices, I think what your willing to pay, if this car was done by a no name guy would you still pay the same price and if not would that be fair or just downing the customizer , there are many out there for sure
