1984 is the horror story to end all horror stories. It is the most grisly, the most terrifying, the most gruesome, the most bleak and hopeless work of art ever created. And it is all true, somewhere.
Ummm this book isn't even in the top 100 of the most gruesome horror stories...ever heard of "the gulag archipelago "?? 1984 is a very good book but waaaaaay overrated and it is a bit silly to be honest...get a clue 😅
1984 was supposed to be a fictional vision of a dystopian future, not a blueprint for the last 40 or 50+ years. Great upload mate, thanks for your time, effort and hard work in sharing with us. Bless you and yours my friend 👍🏽✌🏽🍻
Thank you for listening. We have another production of 1984 featuring Vincent Price in the playlists linked below. The playlists also include a production of Brave New World with an introduction by author Aldous Huxley and a production of Orwell's Animal Farm 1984.ChestertonRadio.com BraveNewWorld.ChestertonRadio.com AnimalFarm.ChestertonRadio.com
Another show you might enjoy is "This Precious Freedom" on Arch Oboler's Everyman's Theatre. Also very relevant for today. th-cam.com/video/jCq0rmXlmzE/w-d-xo.html
@@ChestertonRadio Brilliant, thank you very much. I think it's excellent that these classics, can be so brilliantly abridged/encapsulated in under an hour. It is ideal for today's non reading, short attention span, that sadly is becoming normal almost. Cheers mate, I will most definitely be checking the play list you kindly recommended and linked. I have listened to animal farm on your channel already, and have the same copy of the book from school about 32 years ago, (and had Huxleys, Brave New World from a year or 2 later, but I had to re-buy it after lending it to someone, and forgotten who) and the audiobooks of both, (which my daughters still play most nights. I'm not sure how far they've gotten before falling asleep, lol). Have a good weekend with the people you love mate, and thanks again. Respect to you 👍🏽✌🏽🍻
Thank goodness I am 82. I know this is true and happening today. I won't have to watch this much longer. Good luck people only God can save humanity. From destroying it's self.
