    Increasing the height with blocks is a great idea.

      Bro that was genius, just built mine and now im kicking myself for not doing this. 6'2" and hit my head on the door frame constantly. Pure genius. Lol

    You should be very proud of how that project turned out. I could tell you were learning and adapting as you worked, as the best do. When you skill matches your ideas and creativity you will be amazing!

    Smart idea putting it on those cinder blocks dude! That probably gives it a extra foot or so of height. A big issue with a lot of these tiny sheds is that, they actually have some good room/space in them. But the ceiling is way to freaking low!

      My thoughts exactly. Super happy with the finished result. Going to do an update video soon!

    Exactly what i needed. I have the same shed. I need to frame so i can hang items off the wall (peg board with my tools). I wasnt sure how to attach framing to the shed.

    I do like the idea, I am kinda doing same thing. I did a rased floor with plastic pallets, but too much to dig out roots and whatnot to level it, I did a 2x4 frame to level out the base

    Buy how do you connect the shed to the framing? like how the screws holding it mechanically

    you have an excellent shed now. I suspect over time you will get plenty of "hindsight" advice on what you should have, could have done to make it better. HaHa. I have a similar shed with the gambrel roof purchased at Sears likely near 30 years ago. Except the door it has held up well. Had I built mine the way you have improved yours It would still be nice rather than at the end of its usability. Just to get the hindsight started (and you likely already know} treated wood should have been used for your bottom 2 x 4 where is in contact with masonry. Your videos sort of remind me of Vice Grip Garages beginning videos, so keep it up and watch a few of his beginning and present-day videos if you ever need some inspiration. The quality of the work you have done is very good and that is of the most importance. Gaining enough views to make the video finance the projects likely is one of your first goalposts and with a thousand subscribers and three thousand views you are getting a good start.

    You seem tall. How much would another block height cost?

    • @jeffdeshong
      @jeffdeshong  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not much, block are cheap, maybe another $60-$80

    2:37 whats with the double brace on the nearest section to the door?

    • @jeffdeshong

      Those are just extra pieces sitting there.

    • @jeffdeshong
      @jeffdeshong  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think I ended up leaving them there so I could screw my shelf right to them to make the shelf I put there more stable

    Can't someone just come up to the hinges and unscrew them or take out the hinge pins and gain access

    • @jeffdeshong
      @jeffdeshong  ปีที่แล้ว

      I suppose they could. But that’s not something I worry about

    Stop moving your camera around so much and so fast. Why would anyone want to see you move the camera like that? I like the idea. I thought of the same thing being 6 feet tall
