Thank you for your time and posting. David, I hope everything has worked out after your mishap. Gentlemen, it is 120F/49C in Las Vegas today and for the next four days. So funny, you both have cameras going. :) WOW, food looks fantastic. I can't wait for October when I go visit VN to see if I want to retire there next year.
Last September I spent a few days in LV before going on a tour of Utah. The temperature was around 40C. We only left the hotel at night, we thought it was unbearable, coming from England. So the heat in Vietnam won't be a problem for you.
It 's good to see you guys hanging out together. Hey don't few bad about the weather in Sai Gon because it 's still a few degrees cooler than in San Jose, California. There is a heat wave all over in the United State; except if you are living in Australia.
❤Great content Ty. David seems very nice. Loving his accent. I like the collab thing. 2 very charismatic people. Can't go wrong with that. Keep up the great honey. ❤u!
Damn! You are like a real Vietnamese Vietnamese. That humidity can be extreme and exhausting. But I have seen some Vietnamese people dressed in long sleeves like it’s the winter months to keep the heat off their body.
I had these rolls at a small grocery store in Westminster (? near Anaheim, but not quite Little Saigon). They were delicious and very cheap, but it was more than 10 years ago.
I was told by many especially the Vietnam vets, that Vietnam is a land helping heal the invisible wounds. I hadn't quite comprehended it until watching Tyler's [Big Time Bentley] and Peter's [Brokethehabit] videos actually helped me understand why many keep saying Vietnam is a land helping heal the invisible wounds.
Very true, visiting or living in Vietnam can help heal Vets or just normal people who are tired of waking up every day to a 9 to 5 job and entangled in constant rat race
@@xdgs567z Yes. Why do less and get paid little when you can do almost nothing in a developing country where USD is worth a lot? There's a big difference between 'healing' and enabling losers to continue to be.
when it comes to Central Vietnam cuisine, its defnitely bold, salt, hot. And most dishes having with fish sauce. Fish sauce is big part of food culture in Central Vietnam.
Big guy, the blood in banh canh is blood cake , aka huyet. Blood sausage is well, blood sausage that's normally found in chao long, aka congee with intestine. Banh canh is almost never served with blood sausage.
Dude, I don't even have to taste it to know that is not good banh canh cua, hahaha... I've been to so many banh canh cua places in HCMC cuz it's also one of my fav Viet food, D1 is not the place for banh canh cua. D3, D5, D8, and D10 have good ones.
So funny how Americans label people as "Vietnamese" Australian. He's just Australian bro, there is actually a negative connotation with labeling people Chinese Australian or Vietnamese Australian, it's not the same history as the US. You gotta educate yourself on how other countries operate rather than having an American lens on everything. Can become offensive.
He‘s an australian with a vietnamese background. Why should it be offensive in any way to mention the vietnamese part aswell? Only makes sense if you’re ashamed of it.
Mate! Americans do it with and to themselves, too. They will tell you that they are Irish, or German, having never been there, not speaking the language, and knowing nothing about the culture.

Try Bánh Canh Cua 87 Trần khắc Chân Quận 1 and let me know what you think.
Vietnamese foods would be very very enjoyable if the people didn’t throw garbage everywhere and the vendors practiced safety and hygiene.
Still enjoyable!
Tyler u should do a Black CHicken soup vid, in Q5, David prob know that soup
A lot of people living in London right now

Pho vs Bun Bo, for me, is down to how I feel at that time. But i would say that Hanoi Pho beats Saigon Pho.

Hello 2 beloved. sons
Is a viet Australian same same African American?
Yo what's the dank rates on the food?
David went with a 5 and I went with a 6.1
I like this format, Tyler. It's a shame that the food was only up to a mediocre standard.
Nearly 5 quid for 2 people to eat food is not that bad price
yeah pretty reasonable
why they call Banh Canh Cua, i dont see the cua, maybe it is mix into soup?
haha true...not much cua in that one
😎👍
cheers bro
