7 years in VN and you never tried "sầu riêng"? LOL I personally don't love it but don't hate it either. You need to try "mắm tôm", aka "shrimp paste" for "bún riêu" next. Crazy umami. Just don't smell it 😄
I think it would be cool if you and Trang did some live stream, especially on a Saturday night with super chat. It could help promote your traveling….just saying hehe
You know what? Actually the term "card holder" is quite new to Vietnamese people, especially the elder, they were more familiar with "wallet". And we don't even have the term "card holder" in Vietnamese 🤣 Maybe "Bóp/Ví đựng thẻ" if you translate it word by word. I'm a pure Viet guy and I just use the English term when I talk about it. So you failed not because your English sucks, it was just they didn't know that thing exist 😂 Try again with some younger sellers, maybe it's better next time.
ROFL @ card holder, I think your accent on that was a little off so they couldnt understand you. just one slight difference in VN and you will have a different word. like the word cu lol
haha well I think what happened was google translate thought "card holder" was like "card owner" so it gave chủ thẻ which the vendors were probably like "he want's to buy an owner?"
i think this was a good collaboration....should do more.......
fatandbroke would be a better collab

Great video
Thanks!
David in Great shape and I like che 🍰 ❤🎉😮
It is really a thing that westerners can’t stand the smell of durian. It’s delicious and smells fine to me. 🤔
I'm surprised they never complain about the smell of Dried Shrimp or Dried Anchovies, this smells much worse than Durian I think.
@@84jordie I know right. Fishy smells, in my opinion, are worse and taste isn’t even good. 🤔
Good to see your looking after our Aussie mate! 🦘
👍😉👍
I like David accents from uk Australia 🇦🇺.
From Australia. United Kingdom is a different country.

Cardholder = ví đựng thẻ
haha yeah Trang told me this term once I got home
Thật thú vị khi thấy 1 người Mỹ thích Việt Nam
😂😂
Cardholders are not popular in Vietnam since people mostly use cash. I can see why you had a hard time getting one.
❤❤
