- During the Ferrari Owners Days at circuit Spa Francorchamps, I recorded this beautiful and legendary Ferrari F40. In my opinion, one of the best Ferrari's ever made. The sound of the V8 turbo engine is such amazing.
Technical data - Ferrari F40:
Engine: 2.9L Twin Turbo V8 - 478hp and 577Nm of torque
Performance: 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) acceleration in 3.8s
Top speed: 324km/h (201mph)

Anton Phillipson The Enzo had a terrible transmission though. Too early into the 2000s for a good sequential.

My greatest "Car Spotting" of all time is when I was a kid in 1992, I saw this F40, with an old gent driving, and 2 small kids sitting in the passenger seat, cruising up and down this cul-de-sac. I was beside myself! :-)

To best appreciate a car's engine sound, you have to rev it. Gumbal has a separate video of just that in his channel of this same car, I believe. If any, the F355 with an all original exhaust system sounds good both while just idling and all the more, when being revved.
100% agreed. Videos of engine sound while at idle and even low revs are really just dull. Sound comes in at the top end for any engine

Yes best sounding Ferrari ever,because of the small engine displacement of under 3 liter,but there are better sounds from 2 liter Alfa Romeo because of smaller engine and higher revs.I once drove through a tunnel in a Volkwagen and an Alfa Romeo passing me geared down in to third and then all hell broke lose.My windshield shattered from the sound alone and I had to punch a hole into it to see the road in front of me.But I was not angry at all,because I heard the sound of heaven at 11000 rpm and I will never forget it for the rest of my life.What an experience.What a great sounding car.Big engines don't sound as good,because they have more bass.
I saw one at the Seattle dealership in 1992. It could not even be my dream car because I knew I would never be able to afford it in this life time. Now I drive a Tesla which is quicker than the F40. My Tesla even has a lower cd. (0.24 vs 0.34) Automotive world has come a long way in the last 30 years.
