@@smolhane Matsuri-chan and Fubuki-chan said they'd name their children Hinata. Fubuki is Fox and Polka is Fox. Matsuri means festival and Polka has her circus tent, usually found in festivals and other festive occasions. Polka's hair is sort of in between Matsuri and Fubuki's. Polka keeps encountering Hinata... Coincidence?

No, no, "Oh" is Hanata's surname.
Daily Japanese lesson no.2: Japanese sentence structure always places the verb at the end of a sentence. The subject that precedes the verb usually comes after the article, but in a casual setting, this wouldn't be used to often. The noun would be placed in the middle of the sentence, in this case Hinata

Yep, my interpretation was: Duolingo was using "Hinata" so much that Polka thought "Hinata" was seen as a common/generic Japanese name, kinda like "John" is often used as a generic American/British/etc name.
