The Honda CR-V and Mazda CX-5 are both exceptional crossovers! You can't go wrong with either one! The CR-V boasts additional space over the Mazda, but is it worth it to sacrifice superior materials and the styling? You decide, and let us know in the comments below :)
We realize this will be controversial, but remember our points are unweighted. It's meant to be a basic outline, so after deciding what parts are most important to you, let us know what decision you come to!
Car Confections I don't know which one I'd pick. The CRV is quite a bit larger and possibly more reliable but the Mazda looks a step above. tough decision
Not sure in other countries, but Mazda CX5 full option (highest model) in Dubai does not have Air Conditioner outlet/blower. This is really a deal breaker. CRV win in this matter. I also found that the build quality in CRV (especially in cabin) is better than CX5. Also, CRV is better ergonomic, for example the touch screen, it is much easier in CRV to reach the touch sreen. Etc
Two great CUV's, but I gave my money to Mazda. The CX5 feels like it punches above it's weight, as it feels more like it competes with Audi and Lexus vs Honda and Nissan.
I agree! I have own both 2016 Model CX-5 AWD and the CRV AWD EX. I'll keep the CRV since it has better utility for any family with more rooms and lift height is lower on the CRV vs the CX-5. I like the CVT since it gets better MPG vs. the CX-5 6spd Auto where I hardly get the 26MPG combine. LOL
I love my 2016.5 CX-5 FWD Touring. Not as popular, but I don't care about that. This review didn't cover handling. I'm sure the Mazda would have won on that score. Mine handles so much better than my old Toyota Camry sedan!
Most people on these videos are younger and want a sportier SUV. Honda sells more, but most of those buyers are older people that don't comment on these TH-cam videos.
I had 2015 Cx-5 and I sold it just after 6 months, everything started to fall apart, leather on steering wheel would leave deep scratches and leather on seats was paper thin. While driving on highways and or ramps..any tiny imperfection would case the car jump and would not stay stable like my other car VW CC that would stick tot he road. Not a good car in my opinion.
O and I forgot that the Mazda has Adaptive headlights that move around curves - and their gas pedal is floor mounted - something that only BMW's or Audi's have
Five or ten years ago, I would have go with the CRV without hesitation. Now, the CX5 is intriguing. Haven't test drove both yet and my wife is due for a new car, but the CX5 might be the way to go for her. I have a bigger SUV and I don't think the CRV extra room is a game changer. Mazda has finally ridden itself of Ford and definitely stepped its game up. Interior wise and exterior wise, the CX5 looks better in my opinion. I've seen the CRV on the road and it has yet to fully win me over. The CRV looks so disproportioned, especially its rear. What worries me the most is the CVT and turbo. Why Honda? Why? For the sake of 3-5 extra mpg?
Drove the 2017 CRV Touring - Hated the cheap plastic steering wheel controls , the interior can't hold a candle to the pure luxury of the 2017 Mazda CX5 Grand Touring. The CX5 has a way better user friendly info center and the Bose System kicks Honda's ass. But the real difference is how quiet the CX5 is , how great it handles - it is the best vehicle I have owned hands down. Only problem we have discovered is when you think you are going 60 you look down and find out you are going 80 - ZOOM ZOOM - Drive them both and see for yourself
Smoother, better on gas.. Sure I will give you that.. Also plenty of hours in the repair shop.. CVTs just aren't there yet. But Honda CVTs are remarkably good.
CVT is not very good ,will not last long due to the wear the metal belt endures. will be so expensive to fix or replace .in time this CVT technology will be very good , but not yet .
My wife and I only looked at these two cars. The first car we test drove in the morning and we both immediately agreed the comfortable, quiet ride and the gorgeous looks of both the interior and exterior was more than we had expected. For the two of us, the rear storage was very sufficient. The second car we test drove after lunch. It immediately seem dated looking and underwhelmed both of us with it’s design choices. We keep a car for years so we want one we will enjoy driving and looking at for a long time. The soul red crystal metallic paint sealed the deal and we got the Mazda CX-5 that evening!
One thing we found when looking at the various crossover SUV is the Passanger seat options. The Acura RDX and Mazda were best equipped but the CX5 won us over due to rear seat comfort and cost. If you sit in the Honda products in the passenger seat there is limited room for large shoes and limited if any power sets in most vehicles.
Thank you for the video! Both cars are quite good. The new engine on the CRV does worry me a bit as far as the reliability being unknown, but Honda's have been more reliable (overall). I don't like the new cloth-like offering found the undercarriage of the CRV (for sound dampening, I believe) as it seems to me that it would be difficult to keep clean from all the mud/mildew living in a hot and rainy environment. I do like the USB placement in the rear in the CRV much more than the CX5 as I don't like having to lower the center arm rest / cup holder to access the ports. I know my kids would appreciate the direct, easy access as well.
You're very welcome! And you're absolutely right! If you think the placement of the CR-V's ports are better give it a point! Remember, it's what is most important to YOU! And thanks for watching! :)
According to Motor Trend, the CR-V is almost a second faster going from 0 - 60, stops 10 feet shorter from 60 -0, is faster around their track, get better gas milage, and has more space inside.
Ian Galbraith cheap shitty fake leather vs real leather, and overall classier. That's not opinion, That's a fact that may be worth extra $ being spent monthly on gas. fuel economy difference isn't substantial enough to win me over. I'm going to sit in the Mazda soon and see how bad the rear and front space is.
Mazda markets itself as the "sporty alternative" to mainstream crossover vehicles and yet as stated above, "the CR-V is almost a second faster going from 0 - 60, stops 10 feet shorter from 60 -0, is faster around their track." Kind of embarrassing when a "pedestrian" vehicle such as a CR-V bitch slaps the Mazda in these basic performance parameters.
Vic da G please know that talking about something being 'classier' is still an entirely subjective determination. 0-60 speed. Breaking distance etc., are facts and not open to subjective interpretations. Hope you get that vehicle!
I liked the styling and driving feel of the Mazda more, but went with the CR-V due to actually being faster, better clearance, roomier, better-predicted reliability/resale, and more efficient - since practicality is kinda the whole point of an SUV.
Excellent job CC... I watched your CRV v Rogue and decided on the CRV... until your CX5 v CRV popped on my watchlist and son of a gun- looks like I'll be checking out the CX5! Now, what does Consumer Reports say about each vehicles expected reliability...
Wait so you based this whole comparison video and did all that editing on a point system and at the end you just said they are both good while the cx5 clearly is the better Car and has more points given by you. I hate reviews who cant say how it is.
I looked at both. The Honda while good, excellent reputation had boring styling, the CVT and frankly felt cheap plastic inside. The CX 5 aligned itself with the higher end SUVs with styling, simplicity and materials used inside the cabin. I look for Mazda to leap forward decisively to up the ante further, I don;t understand the reluctance to offer apple car play or android. Makes zip sense. I vote overall for the CX5, While there may be some differences, I feel the other than what I mentioned above, the CX5 is overall nicer, classier and a good ride.
(my thoughts).after test driving them all i went with the redesighned crv touring because of its looks feel reliability and great long term trade values.awesome little suv no regretts, but all the compact suv choices are nice nowadays and some things i did like better about other makes.its tough to compare them all and they are not cheap so shop slow.after you test drive 5 back to back you forget a few things your mind is jarbled and tired, did i like this did i not like that lol(bring a notebook)go home and sleep on it.
Both excellent crossovers, but the CX-5 looking and driving better is a purely subjective. MT even says the new CRV is a better performer based on actual numbers. It's also better on mpgs, value, and space - basically doing what a crossover is meant to do. www.motortrend.com/cars/honda/cr-v/2017/2017-honda-cr-v-vs-2017-mazda-cx-5-comparison-review/
But they also mentioned the intangibles that Mazda does so well. I actually wasn't even looking at CUV's when I purchased my CX5. I was comparing the TLX, Q50, ATS, and A4, and this little car stole me away from those. The CX5 felt very much like the 4 cylinder TLX, it was just as quiet and it has a nicer looking interior (i got the parchment leather). IMO the CX5 didn't need to beat the CRV because it already beat the TLX.
This was hands down the best CR-V vs CX-5 video in my honest opinion, however, may I ask why you included the very top of the line Grand Touring CX-5 against the EX-L version of the CR-V rather than the Touring model which actually sits above it? Seems like it would have been a better comparison having both top trims fully loaded. I personally prefer the clean/premium look of the Mazda but feel the Honda is a better total package. Would you please, please, please do comparison between the top of the line versions of the new 2018 model Camry and Accord? Thanks again for the very informative video. I currently am thinking of trading out of my RAV4 SE but want to wait and see what Toyota does with the next 2019 RAV4 before making a decision. If the new Camry and C-HR are an implication of things to come, we may be in for a huge treat and Honda and Mazda better look out!!
Hi Carlos! Thanks for the kind words! And to answer your question, we used the EX-L Honda because that's what we had footage of. We re-use footage from our Full Review videos for our comparisons, and at the time we filmed the CR-V they didn't have a Touring on the lot. We live in Kentucky, so that's a fairly common problem. As far as the Camry and Accord are concerned, that's most certainly on our agenda! We already have a Camry review and we're just waiting on the Accord to come! Stay tuned :)
Car Confections awesome!! Thanks so much for the reply too! I can't wait to see it. Your videos are so informative and I love how your give unbiased opinions. Thank you.
The CX-5 can get remote start. It's a $550 dealer add on and comes as an app for your phone. It can be used worldwide, provided your phone & car have internet access. The app can also lock/unlock the doors.
Great review! In Canada the crv gets heated rear seats and a panoramic roof. Don't recall if we get remote start besides a dealer option for either vehicle. Can you do a comparison between terrain and cx5 diesel once they launch please.
Car Confections yep being our dollar is about %35 weaker right now they sometimes throw in a few extra incentives they roll out the next year in the US. My genesis came with AWD while it wasn’t available as an option in the US at the time. PS I checked after posting and indeed the CRV does come with remote start. Another thing I forgot to mention was that in canada the CRV base form comes with the turbo while the US gets the old 2.4L engine.
Hello, I disagree with some of the drawls, the fact that you can integrate apple or android and have access to a navigation system without having to pay the additional 1500 price range (overall) is an amazing feature that Honda is offering I believe that point should've gone to honda, The Mazda CX-5 navigation system looks like garbage not to mention that you may have to pay up in a couple of years to update it.. I do own A 2017 CRV - EX 2WD...
interesting grade system, bigger wheels get one point, bigger brakes get another point, but headroom and legroom is one point... practically the interior is just worth one point?
You should not mix up the location of the final scoring and the picture of the vehicles which can confuse viewers at the end of the video. The CRV score was next to the CX5 and the CX5 score was next to the CRV. At a glance the viewer may think the CRV had the higher score and not the CX5. Other than that it was a good video. Keep up the good work.
CR-V with the turbo still faster. "On the test track, the seemingly less aggressive CR-V hit 60 mph nearly a second quicker than the sporty CX-5, needing just 7.5 seconds to the Mazda’s 8.4, though the advantage narrowed to 0.6 second by the end of a quarter mile." www.motortrend.com/cars/honda/cr-v/2017/2017-honda-cr-v-vs-2017-mazda-cx-5-comparison-review/
Like the old song says," Never make a pretty woman your wife", but the CRV is really damn ugly, like the new Civic. Honda makes really good cars and I should know having owned several new ones, but I never really bought them because of their styling. I switched to a 2016 Mazda CX-5 , witch is a great looking suv, but now I may have to switch to a new CX-5. I think I will go with pretty again.
Good review - covered a lot. But what about the windows. I know the Mazda is AUTO UP AND DOWN on all buttons - not just just the driver controls. That’s cool.. what about the CRV?
Sorry, but until Mazda adds Apple CarPlay, its not even in consideration. The other downside is the underpowered USB connector in front which won't give enough power to charge your phone. And I own a 2013 CX-5 and love it.
Good thorough comparison for the most part, thank you!...after much research on my part, I would find a better or more equitable comparison to be made between the Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring with the Honda CR-V Touring models (rather than the EX-L in the CR-V) - the CR-V Touring model would undoubtedly rate and compare much more closely with the Grand Touring CX-5, especially with the CX-5 GT premium package included as in this comparison. Both are excellent top choices among the current compact SUV options... really seems to come down to what is most important or preferential for an individual buyer/owner. :))
I like the option of keeping a car for a long time. That is why I will not buy a small engine and turbo (longevity not there). For the same reason no CVT. I hate CVTs and their fake shifts. Mazda wins on all counts.
Excellent job! I really like to see your slow and smooth moving steps when you filming! I went to Mazda dealership to get my service on Mazda3 and also had a chance to do a test drive on cx-5 GT which was really phenomenal. It was a lot more spacious than I expected and sport mode allowed me to boost like turbo. I am still in between this vs Forester XT because of turbo and etc, but started leaning on cx5 for many reasons. Any thoughts?
+ROY PARK Thanks! I haven't been in a Forester (yet) but from what I have read the Mazda would probably drive better (in terms of steering and transmission), but the turbo engine would be tempting on the Subaru. That said, the Mazdas cabin is really really nice for this class, so that would probably be my pick!
I found the CRV interior to seem quite cheap in person than in pictures...and I found the cx5 interior to be extremely upscale in person, more so than in pictures. The CRV just looks more plastic like.
I thought this was a face-off?! There’s no verdict at the end. I just started a lease on a 2018 CX-5 Touring, and my actions definitely reflect my opinion, but what about yours! My ego always welcomes confirmation bias lol
I hope Mazda CEO sees this comment. Mazda you try to copy the big players but don't want to exceed your competitors best. Always lacking in engine options, models, and always behind in leadership. Get rid of the lame RX8 or put a decent reliable Sky- Active gas V6 or V8 in it. Expand your Sky-Active gas engine technology in your RX8 and shock the big boys in the game. As for the rotary engines it's wasting your company $$$$$$$$$$$$, brain power, and manpower. Build a urban mini pickup while all the competitions has none. By using the 3's engines and keep the price down to earth for all Janes and Joes. Made that user friendly for folks of all ages and health conditions. Lower the heights of entry and the cargo loading areas. Build it simple not just the fully dressed pricey models. Late then add AWD. Don't follow F-150, Ram, GMC, or the Trundra or its smaller sibling TACOMA.(Too Big, too wide, too long, too bad boy, too brute, too tall, too high entry & cargo lift height, use too much gas, too hard to wash & wax, too pricey for real work) Don't follow GM= Gross Management tries to build costly corporate butt hurt limited collectors vehicles regular folks don't buy it cause that giant to bankruptcy. Put a premium V6 in that 6 would bring more buyers plus a sport wagon too. Add a brand new full size MAZDA 8 sedan and sport wagon (not SUV) with a V8. Add AWD option later if necessary. Put a simple light weight cheap to manufacture full time hard top on that Miata MX5 Come on, there are many parts of the world couldn't get warm sunny days all the time. Not everyone likes bird droppings, dirts, and cold wet weathers. Put at least another 75 - 175 HP into the weak Miata would help. That alone would put fears & envy eyes to the competitors in the sport car world. Stretch that already good Mazda 3 another 4-10 inches really helps the rear seating comfort and rear foot space areas. Then your 3 has matured to perfection to beat the competitions. Stay away the lame diesel engine business like VW. It's a waste of corporate 💰, reliable disgrace, and company effort. Stop just listen to your past loyal customers. They are too small for your company expansion plans. You need to build up your products and brand name to all buyers of all ages and income not just the wannabe premium brand segment. Too scare to step out of your comfort zones MAZDA ? Then stay small and keep shrinking in the global market. ZOOM, ZOOM OR DOOM !
I couldn’t get past the cheesy interior materials used in the CRV. That and CVT transmission on the CRV is a non-starter for me. The Honda sounded like it was working much harder to accomplish the same task. I wanted to like the Honda, but it just felt, sounded and drove like a much cheaper vehicle. The Mazda impressed me as a higher quality vehicle that was much more fun to drive, with more usable torque where you needed it. I chose the Mazda.
Build quality of both is very good but Honda never had a nice interior except for Legend. Mazda is going since 2012 to a premium direction with success so without question I go for Mazda premium
Excellent comparison. Thank you guys I'm am still struggling which one to buy. - reliability and resale values go to Honda CR-V? - driving dynamic, fun to drive go to CX-5
Thanks! And yes, it's a really tough decision...I'd hate to have to pick between them 😂 But honestly, you can't go wrong with either, so you win either way!!
I don't think Honda will prioritize the CRV for styling and driving dynamics of course they don't want to do that they want to reserve that on their Acuras duh.
CRV IS NOT SUV. IT IS MPV ALL THE WAY The sitting position, the inside space, the ground clearance, the way it drives etc etc A very beautifull MPV but NO SUV WHY EVERYBODY COMPARE IT WITH SUV
FIINALLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY...a person that know how to make a proper comparison video. I've spend 2 hours searching for a proper comparison on youtube ffs..
Muranomuro looks better and goes further on a tank with no lagging turbo it smokes the crv to 60 Murano is the king of 5 pssgr suvs. Safer and more luxury, too more HP with the same 2 ton curb weight . Sorry Honda fans Murano is better in every way yes they are different class of vehicles but nearly same length and weight and both cvt driven for 5?people.
Look and design....Mazda..... CRV turbo has serious issues ive read about that can affect engines in later years...gas and oil dilution problems blending both together.... I’ve had a 2006 crv until now. I’ll test drive a Mazda and either get a Mazda or an older crv that has NO turbo engine.
@@pobster88j94 what issues? I have a 2006 mazda 3 zero problems, my father has 2013 mazda 3 and again zero problems.and mazda was rated 2nd best reliable car in 2019. So what's your point?
Jeez the Mazda is ugly. Plus they don’t last, that’s why they spend more on luxury interior items as the engines are cheaper. Never had good luck with Mazda’s.

Both of these cars are good, but Car and Driver would say that the CX5 is the driver's car of the two. More space in the CRV.
Mazda CX5 hands down
you didn't mention that CX-5 has double glass but cr-V doesn't and Mazda built in Japan,
Mazda Win Win. I just love it
The comment section is quite interesting. Everybody pays lip service to the Mazda yet hardly anybody buys them
Captain Jack I got one for 2018 Mazda it’s 👍 nice

Great comparison! These are the two hottest SUVs on the world market - in my opinion of course - and I'm biased so I'm in the CX-5's corner on this!
Thanks! And haha I could tell you might like the Mazda better 😂
I had 2015 Cx-5 and I sold it just after 6 months, everything started to fall apart, leather on steering wheel would leave deep scratches and leather on seats was paper thin. Me OK. Keep your Honda CVT transmission .. I'll take the traditional six speed gear box any day. Mazda all the way.

What little you save on gas does not come close to repair and resale loss of a CVT
Mazda all day everyday no discussion
I agree
(Fun fact: it's my favorite and my dream car)
TypicalType surprising. A 23 grand dream car

impressive comparison. I like how you all throw these in between full reviews. keep up the good work

Go to a Audio store and for $310 installed you get remote start on your fob.
First Cynic it's a 550$ add on plus Labor which shoots it up to 850$.
Great review! In Canada the crv gets heated rear seats and a panoramic roof. Don't recall if we get remote start besides a dealer option for either vehicle.
Can you do a comparison between terrain and cx5 diesel once they launch please.
+Uncouth Luddite Thanks! It's weird the differences between the equipment in Canada and the U.S. And we will whenever we can get access to them!
Fuck a terrain who wants to pay 10,000 more for something that is just as equipped as a 30k cx5 GT
Yeah, absolutely we agree with that. Android Auto is a fantastic feature... Just add the point in your head :)
You have my sympathy.
Great review. Appeared impartial and looked at many of the things that I would normally look at
+AK Hunter Thanks!
You can get remote start for $310 installed on your fob for Mazda at a Audio store.
scrapplepig I'm glad you said this because I gotta have it
It becomes an I targeted feature in the original fob? Or do you get stuck with a 2nd fob?
Same fob just got it done 3 days ago, you push lock 3 times and it starts.
Can I ask which audio store?
A store near you that installs car stereos, security alarms or some window tinting.
Cx5 looks infinitely better and less like something from space
I agree The CRV styling is overdone. They just threw chrome at it.
interesting grade system, bigger wheels get one point, bigger brakes get another point, but headroom and legroom is one point... practically the interior is just worth one point?
Hi David! It was done that way since the margin of victory was so thin (only .2 inches). Sorry for any confusion!
Car Confections i see, no problem.
The dealership needs to push the sales on CX5
You should not mix up the location of the final scoring and the picture of the vehicles which can confuse viewers at the end of the video. The CRV score was next to the CX5 and the CX5 score was next to the CRV. At a glance the viewer may think the CRV had the higher score and not the CX5. Other than that it was a good video. Keep up the good work.
JCA Good point. Thanks for mentioning, we will pay closer attention to that for future videos!
Both solid vehicles , however reviewer was very bias...imo.
It gets The "best" SUV spit-comparison video award
great comparison. appreciate all the details
CR-V with the turbo still faster.
"On the test track, the seemingly less aggressive CR-V hit 60 mph nearly a second quicker than the sporty CX-5, needing just 7.5 seconds to the Mazda’s 8.4, though the advantage narrowed to 0.6 second by the end of a quarter mile."

I watched it guys! Great stuff. I wanted to know the exact information that this provided. thank you so much
Like the old song says," Never make a pretty woman your wife", but the CRV is really damn ugly, like the new Civic. Honda makes really good cars and I should know having owned several new ones, but I never really bought them because of their styling. I switched to a 2016 Mazda CX-5 , witch is a great looking suv, but now I may have to switch to a new CX-5. I think I will go with pretty again.
I like the music in this video. Weirdly calming.
Good review - covered a lot. But what about the windows. I know the Mazda is AUTO UP AND DOWN on all buttons - not just just the driver controls. That’s cool.. what about the CRV?
Hi. I check the CR-V and it only has auto up/down windows for the driver and passenger. Thanks for watching!
thanks for the comparison. enjoyed it
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Sorry, but until Mazda adds Apple CarPlay, its not even in consideration. The other downside is the underpowered USB connector in front which won't give enough power to charge your phone. And I own a 2013 CX-5 and love it.
I like practicality so Im going for the CRV.
Great job!would peak CX5 for style and CRV for longevity and resale value!
I liked the comparison video!
Id like to see the Subaru Forester Touring compared against these as well
Excellent video. Thank you so much
You're welcome! We're glad you enjoyed :)
Bias comment, dont count plus points of crv as mentioned!
A voice to fall in love with
I like the option of keeping a car for a long time.
Car Confections You're right, can't be better than this in its class for sure. Thanks for your review again!
I found the CRV interior to seem quite cheap in person than in pictures...and I found the cx5 interior to be extremely upscale in person, more so than in pictures. The CRV just looks more plastic like.
Best comparison video ever seen
Thank you so much for the kind words! We appreciate that, and thanks for watching!
I thought this was a face-off?! There’s no verdict at the end. I just started a lease on a 2018 CX-5 Touring, and my actions definitely reflect my opinion, but what about yours! My ego always welcomes confirmation bias lol
For me, definitely the CX-5 because I wouldn't need the extra space
Mazda has a remote start if you download the app and have the tech package.
Carla Sabella which app? I want it.
Don't follow F-150, Ram, GMC, or the Trundra or its smaller sibling TACOMA.(Too Big, too wide, too long, too bad boy, too brute, too tall, too high entry & cargo lift height, use too much gas, too hard to wash & wax, too pricey for real work)
Don't follow GM= Gross Management tries to build costly corporate butt hurt limited collectors vehicles regular folks don't buy it cause that giant to bankruptcy.
Thank you guys
I'm am still struggling which one to buy.
- reliability and resale values go to Honda CR-V?
- driving dynamic, fun to drive go to CX-5
Thanks! And yes, it's a really tough decision...I'd hate to have to pick between them 😂 But honestly, you can't go wrong with either, so you win either way!!
Go test drive them both. I actually test drove an Acura a week before the CX5 and the CX5 won me over.
Thanks Tony - I love both Acura RDX and MDX - but they're both out of my budget!
I will test drive the CX5 this weekend.
I don't think Honda will prioritize the CRV for styling and driving dynamics of course they don't want to do that they want to reserve that on their Acuras duh.
Which has the best RESALE VALUE? TIA!
CRV IS NOT SUV. IT IS MPV ALL THE WAY
The sitting position, the inside space, the ground clearance, the way it drives etc etc
A very beautifull MPV but NO SUV
WHY EVERYBODY COMPARE IT WITH SUV
Stefan Constantinescu lol it’s nothing like a mini van you turd.
people prefer traditional auto over cvt ? that's not objective...where's the conclusion comes from. I would compare turbo vs NA
You're more than welcome to give the CR-V the point if you prefer a CVT... Our points are just guidelines!
Go cx5!!!!! Crv is such mommy car. When you drive cx5, you will forget this is suv. only 2017 cx5! Not 2016
whats wrong with 2016?
great video
FIINALLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY...a person that know how to make a proper comparison video. I've spend 2 hours searching for a proper comparison on youtube ffs..
+Daëmon Very glad this was helpful for you!
CX-5 looks much better inside and out, CRV looks boring..
The crv shape looks better to me
Cx5 for the money worth
Muranomuro looks better and goes further on a tank with no lagging turbo it smokes the crv to 60 Murano is the king of 5 pssgr suvs. Safer and more luxury, too more HP with the same 2 ton curb weight . Sorry Honda fans Murano is better in every way yes they are different class of vehicles but nearly same length and weight and both cvt driven for 5?people.
The CR-V is a great competitor but MAZDA FOR THE WIN
Look and design....Mazda..... CRV turbo has serious issues ive read about that can affect engines in later years...gas and oil dilution problems blending both together.... I’ve had a 2006 crv until now. I’ll test drive a Mazda and either get a Mazda or an older crv that has NO turbo engine.
I wonder if the CX-5 has Driver Alert, because zzzz on the interior so bland.
Mazda has a horrible resale value, you see so many old hondas still running good but not mazdas
I take Honda for its durability and resale value
Kamol Ergashev exactly. People don’t realize the issues Mazda’s have long term. They’re the cheapest made.
@@pobster88j94 what issues? I have a 2006 mazda 3 zero problems, my father has 2013 mazda 3 and again zero problems.and mazda was rated 2nd best reliable car in 2019. So what's your point?
I just can't make the decision...
Looks like you found our other comparison. It is a touch decision for sure!
Ridiculous on engine category, cx5 should have won over crv.
Motor Trends 2018 Best SUV Winner Is...Honda CR-V!!!!
Any car is better than the crv for this person lol
cx 5 👍 ...
The CRV is better. That's it! More space, nicer look inside and out.
No se por que la gente pierde su tiempo y su dinero en un Mazda tan malos que son
Sorry but the CRV will always have that “I’m an old lesbian” feel to it. Mazda all the way
Jeez the Mazda is ugly. Plus they don’t last, that’s why they spend more on luxury interior items as the engines are cheaper. Never had good luck with Mazda’s.
