I was born with extremely crooked teeth so it took an extremely big toll on my confidence and self esteem. Now, 10 years later they have been corrected by braces, I still feel like I deal with the pain of having insecurities.

Sometimes people don't even get that they might trigger something in the next person when they ask them if they should hide a flaw like you said with the picture and your friend. I was insecure about my nose sometime ago so I used to look at other people's noses. Not to hat on them but to think of which shape or size I prefer. I am over it now and am glad I was insecure about it because now I know how insecurities can make people.

Hey simone, I'm having my ups and downs as well. Being mentally drained these days but today i feel better, some of us can be harsh towards ourselves without realising it. Insecurities are normal and specially dealing with it was not pleasant at all. But again I feel better and i remember you talked about how mentally drained you were. It happens, I relate. I wonder how are you doing? And thanks for the video.
i hate that everyone looks the same now, knowing that the trend of today will eventually go out of time. it's sad to look back on old movies and stuff and see how everyone was unique in looks and now they aren't. i've always wanted a nose job tho, however, 2 weeks ago or smt a guy pointed out how big my nose was. i felt so bad that night but when i woke up in the morning i decided i do not want a nose job for those kind of people or to attract that kind of crowd, but because i simply want it for myself. because i don't want to feel like i give in to those people.

Omg I also uploaded like 100 instagram pictures daily when I was around 13 yrs too just for me, had zero followers but was not a private account so our teachers found our instagram and other social media accounts and called us out for being on social media this young, then I got shy and deleted everything 😢😭☠️ so nostalgic… now I have to think a bajillions times before I upload something and I rather not. Also yes! Who is to define what’s a “flaw” - ok yes we have societal “norms” but they are so fickle and change anyway. But aside from that, there’s always people who will like those “flaws”. For example being a short guy - I usually always preferred shorter guys. Same with certain shape noses - I always thought they were so unique and exotic . Though on me I don’t like them because I’m boring English rose haha. But for others I loved it

I also want to add one more point. Chaging ur face for example changing your nose or changing your lips can actually negatively impact ur face. Like you can do it if you want. But I've seen the prettiest people get unnecessary filler or nose job it looks very uncanny !! It can make you look worse !! So learn to embrace your uniquity :) and love yourself :)
