In your last inferno video you had Empowered Psyonics instead of Warp siphons. Which one do you prefer ? I kinda liked the idea of having some quick empowered Brain Rupture to throw in case of emergency
I agree. Every purgatus build I use runs Brain Rupture for that single target/distant target snipe damage. Empowered psionics is a must in my eyes and a straight up DPS boost in every build I tried. You do so much more damage overall and can just pop one elite and special after another, adding more perilous combustion explosions that spread more soulblaze. On top of that, kinetic resonance is an absolute boss melter. Everytime you vent you go into machine gun mode that works in tandem with empowered psionics charges. I used to run warp siphon on all my builds back in the day... now I exclusively use either empowered psionics or disrupt destiny. The cooldown reduction in my builds just comes from psykinetic's aura, where everytime someone in coherency kills an elite or special, we get 5% off of our cooldowns. I've never felt like I need more cooldown reduction. I don't even use combat ability regeneration on my curios anymore. On higher difficulties there are just so many elites and specials that I can almost spam the ultimate.
I prefer this build for non monsters modifier map. It does much more spread damage with a lot more cdr. I only use the EP BB build for I II VEG and the other weakened monsters modifiers. EP BB is monsters killing specialisation build!
With the other comment about dropping Soulstealer for Kinetic Flayer, would you consider dropping Kinetic Deflection to keep both? I personally run 1 +3 stam Curios but really the ending scoreboard says it all, only blocking 7 attacks... I am not sure whether that counts ranged attacks, though. In the same train of thought, its not like you had an issue with toughness either. Do you think Smite helped in that regards? Like not having that team comp, you would be blocking more? Considering you had no issues with toughness, would you drop KD and take back Warp Battery? Would have a more noticable impact. You hit 4 stacks a lot, sometimes instantly, and basically Shriek on cd so maybe the 2 more charges would have diminishing returns. Sick gameplay! Ps. That visual Warp charge counter under dodges remaining is so cool! Such a good idea.
Hey I was debating whether to drop KD or battery. In the end i went with battery because although left click can stagger it's still hard to go through if a lot of bulwarks happen to drop on you. It's just a safety measure really if you are more comfortable you can easily go without KD instead. I don't use soulstealer on inferno as mettle provide enough toughness despite the nerf. On my blaze trauma (voidblast) though I keep warp battery for the extra cdr, since I only use creeping flames at above 84% whether on inferno I just spam it constantly for the extra stagger and faster ramp up. I only hold for 6 stacks on inferno against monster pretty much. Everything die at 15(16) stacks already so just getting it there is more important than holding it for 84%+.
I dont like how starved for points it feels like you are with the psyker tree. Now we gotta give up soul stealer for kinetic flayer since its finally fixed. Also i dont even know how were ever supposed to play with any of the skills related to extra staff damage cuz its not like the vet tree where you have all this room to play around with skill points cuz you really dont.
I think they can still trim warp charges keystone a tiny bit more. But yeah no soulstealer so you rely on mettle and quietude for toughness. For burgatus I don't hold my peril to 84% for shriek and mainly use it for the cc.
@@AgentChaosMeme I use shriek to stagger dangerous enemies all the time even if im not at 86. Being at 86 is good though you can kill lots of enemies in the next room over with it. Also easy to get to 86 when you play with a low resistance Deimos. Lowest I have is 36%. Havent invesed in finding another. If you find one thats like 15% you can get to 86 instantly. Playing without soul stealer really sucks because you arent always using your staff or quelling sometimes you just vented and things are dying and its good toughness when you just walked into a room or something and shooters are everywhere. Im used to walking into a room and instantly brain bursting things but still. I hope they fix osykerw tree further and warp charges requiring like 8 points to get down is a big part of the problem cuz ep is like 4 which is hilarious.

It ramps up both the direct and soulblaze DOT damage. It stacks very fast with inferno honestly it's OP.
