Nicely done gents. Enjoyed the video. Have been escaping Maine winters here at home and fishing those same spots for the past 5 or 6 years now, and for the exact same reasons. Have met some of the nicest locals you'd ever hope to meet down there. Nice to see someone finally pull a tarpon out of those mangroves! Have caught permit and plenty of bones there but have yet to connect with a poon. Kudos!
suweet. thank you! Chris did a great job. Ive been working on a vlog series from my month in the jungle earlier this year, its long form but vertical vids. check it out !
thanks for watching! hopefully Chris can join another trip later this year. ive been working on a vlog series from my month in the jungle earleir this year, its all vertical vids. check it out !
Awesome! Thanks for watching. And stoked to hear that. Hopefully many more to come! My buddy Ryan filmed our trip to Borneo in January - hopefully a film tour selection for 2025!
Nice work, really entertaining film. I have to ask: what are you guys carrying in those packs? I see it all the time, young dudes with Simms or Yeti packs just stuffed to the gills. I can walk bonefish flats all day with a small lumbar pack that carries a couple boxes of flies, some tippet, forceps, a couple bottles of water and a couple PB & J sandwiches. Not trying to be an asshole, I'm just curious as to what y'all are carrying.
Thanks for watching. Good question - I used to just do a fanny pack but got tired of everything getting wet - it’s very easy to over carry with a backpack. Def keep it as light as possible. I can’t speak for the other guys but mine is usually only have full these days and it’s mostly food haha
Wonderful production. Looks like a great time for you all. Thanks for sharing.
thanks for watching! it really was a fun time - great group of guys and my favorite place to fish!
