As a goalie, we don't get the luxury of two gloves that perfectly fit the stick. Using proper technique to create leverage, speed and strength give us the chance to control and move the puck as a defensive play OR progress the puck forward to create opportunity for our forwards. In this video we will go over proper the stick hold you should be using o the ice.

I'm in my 40's. I always used an under handed grip with the glove and sent that puck into orbit when I played in the 90's.My times have changed. 😅

But what if you’re right handed shooting with your goalie stick? I like Hatcher hold of the knob. Well, my blocker is down at the shaft. I am orthodox lol.
