This guy clearly served in the military and has been deployed. Update: People, Dominic Besse, who got shot, is a marine veteran police officer. Apparently, all the keyboard generals came out here to explain why his tactics don't make him an ex-military.
Don’t think so, the reason he got shot is because he couldn’t breach the door efficiently. You can see him pause and not be able to shoot immediately because he held the doorway while kicking in the door
@@swarmer5 It was in a hallway. There's no other way to breach it safely without explosives. And its not like the military where he can just shoot indiscriminately through the doorway or throw in a grenade. He can only shoot when he has eyes on a target.

I bet that officer didn't even get a raise... He put himself in danger not firstly for money, anyone with common sense wouldn't do what he did for 40$ which is literally what this whole situation gave him in the end. He wanted to save that young girl and erase a society threat, what a lad.
He wants your money, your freedom, and your safety. He is not your friend, he has been paid to keep you in line and alive enough to pay taxes. Be more immune to authoritarian propoganda.
Nathan Kirby trust me, he’ll have permanent hearing loss. I’m a firearms instructor at the 3rd largest gun range in the USA. I also have 25dB of hearing loss in my left ear. A .223 Rem round out of a 16 in. barrel is pretty loud. He’s indoors. He went through 30 rounds and switched to his pistol as others were firing shots in close proximity. He’ll have hearing issues. Will he live? Of course! But will he need hearing aids later on in life? Definitely.
I must say, that Officer was solid! Being shot in a gunfight at 10 feet is no joke. Cop was hit but stayed in the fight. May GOD bless this young man. Taking a round in the sternum, even with ballistic plates is painful and often deadly
@Robn-CivilRights If he's defending his life, no. It's called felony murder. The person committing the felony would get the charge as they're the ones who caused the incident in the first place.

T marshall that’s original. Did your baby mama you don’t pay child support to help you come up with that one? Or was it you came up with it while you were in between blunts? Please advise.😁
What a lot may not realize: Yes, a ballistics vest can save your life, if you were to end up getting hit in that area, however it's only meant to prevent penetration. The force of that bullet is going to absolutely knock you to the ground and possibly fracture and/or break some ribs. It's certainly better than the alternative, but that looked incredibly painful.
Someone asked my opinion about body armor and he thinks it's not too important. I told him it seems better to die from a headshot than chest shot. And the head is smaller than the chest.
Wrong. Vests are rated for both perforation and back face deformation. This doesn't mean it won't hurt or cause injury, just that it won't be life threatening. Stop spreading this myth.
The rage, The way this guy ate the bullet like an absolute Unit. Then you have your youtube special operations forces experts in the comments who would ALWAYS act in correct way and wipe out 7 dudes in every situation is just triggering lol.
I get it. I respect the cop having balls and wanting to stay in there and get sum. I’d want to go after the guy too but he’s not in Afghanistan anymore and he can’t take his aggression and frustration out on a suspect. Fellow officers should have removed him from the action for treatment and replaced him with clear eyes and calm demeanor. The innocent that was in the room is damn lucky she didn’t get hit. I heard the officer say he was going back inside to treat another victim. Curious if this other victim might have a .556 round in them. He doesn’t get to endanger innocent parties because he’s pissed and as much as I don’t care about the scumbag, legally speaking, if the guy gave up he should have been allowed to and it’s not a good look to have a cop saying “fuk him” when another is looking to render aid.

If you got shot, and are currently in pain from the force of the shot, you are not going to be very happy at the person who shot you. The dude was also blindly firing at the cops, since the cop says “Open the door.” Multiple times, so they were both blindly firing. Glad that woman made it out alive. Kind of hard to tell from the video when the threat was actually "neutralized". In most cases, when you fire at police, you will not live to tell the tale, even if you try to surrender after the fact. I'm all for accountability for wrongful death inflicted by law enforcement, but if you fire at police, I think you've lost your rights to a trial by your peers.

I want to meet this guy. I’ve Always been into police stuff, but being shot and still fighting is what makes me keep faith in this world. If I ever got to meet this cop, id just cry and hug him. Thank him.
How about our armed forces? Not these fat tub o lard playing army with civilians. Vets don't fret or fuss even when the VA effs them over. These guys cry because they have to wear cameras.
fed lol
Why don't you just marry him then?
The bucket at 4:56 was actually really smart i dont see no one praisein this guy for it hes a quick thinker my heart goes out to these officers
I can assume by how calm they were after being in the room for a couple seconds that the suspect was dead. It was a good shoot. This should go viral.
Yup. Its natural selection literally
Yeah. He definitely took the room floor temperature challenge.
When the old cop takes one look and walks away immediately you know the suspect is dead
It did get viral. I think it was the shooting of the month or year ( saw it off tiktok lol)
I dont say this often but mad respect for this officer. Took a hit and still finished the job.
Did you congratulate uvalde pd?
@@Relentless_Venture this is completely different and you know it
@@dbyspae122 it's the same. Bad guy with a gun should be taken out by the good guys. It's cowboys and Indians what's so hard too understand? One pd did their job and one was scared ishless. Some are cowards some are not. The badge doesn't make you superman. That gun does.
Man, this shows what police deal with. There life is in danger everyday. Much respect to this cop.🙏🏻
Is it so hard to learn English? I always saw the same mistake over and over
@FRANK MONSIVAIS 🙏🏻 you saved the day. Thankyou
Not all police. He’s cool tho.
@@bobzul5434 get over it it’s the internet
@@bobzul5434 *..see the same mistake. Not saw.
Is it that hard to learn English?
I'm not even from a country where English is the native language. Yet, this should be pretty simple.
I see you now, I saw you yesterday. Present | Past.
It's pretty ironic to correct others, when you're comitting an even more obvious mistake.
Don't you think?
Officer that got shot: "I'm hit in the chest!"
Other officer: "Seriously!?" 🤤
Massive respect to these men risking there lives for our safety. Wish them well.
This cop really got the fight in him. Saw some other similar videos where cops break down or gets away from the fight. Reminded me of myself in highschool when I thought I was tough and was ready to fight when I got picked on until I froze and realized I was afraid to fight when we were squaring up. To this day, I always stay away from any of that.
I respect your honesty about that, bro. I really do. Just felt the urge to say that
and the cop should have done the same, he went in way too fast. He got very lucky this time but why risk it so hard when you've got a team behind you?
@@leolego2 too luck if the bullet was a few inches above he woulda been dead
lol
It’s your adrenaline kicking in. Most ppl associate it with fear and freeze it’s your body trying to go into protective mode. When you get pass that and throw your first punch you will be fine.
The cop was like: ,,You should've gone for the head"
Lol yes
He was so angry, like he was about to turn into a titan to eat eren's founding titan.. jeez calm down
@@derps2487 no such thing as calm when you’re in a shootout
Underrated comment lol
All that…for a drop of blood🤣🤣🤣
Damn.. this Officer clearly comes from real battlefields. My respects for him making sure he stuck by to see the scumbag got his karma served very cold. 🤙💯
@Popkhdioz Oh, but I’m sure that if you get shot by a guy, your gonna allow him to marry your daughter. Let’s be honest here. If you got shot, and are currently in pain from the force of the shot, you are not going to be very happy at the person who shot you. The dude was also blindly firing at the cops, since the cop says “Open the door.” Multiple times, so they were both blindly firing. The suspect fired first, was given a chance to surrender, and the outcome is what happens when you throw away that chance violently.
@Popkhdioz His ego was hurt? You mean his survival instinct after being shot in the chest? 😂
@Popkhdioz You’re acting like the guy was hurling insults and not lead. Ego? Gtfoh
@Popkhdioz Talk about being a child. You ignored the other guys comment because he spoke pure facts.
@Windowseal that wasn't murder that was Justice served up quickly.
The officer's actions also protected the rest of society, there's no telling how many people this officer saved by getting this guy off of this planet.
He also saved the taxpayers a lot of money.
P.s.
If someone's in another room shooting at me and I can't see him, as long as I have an approximation of where he's at you best believe I'm going to shoot through the wall back at him.
Thank you for your heroic service !!!!
I loved the denial by the lady outside. SMH. Simple, Don’t break the law. It’s easy.
4:35 I've watched this a lot but the fact that after being shot he goes back to maintaining trigger discipline raises this officer's badassery even more
Glad that woman made it out alive. Kind of hard to tell from the video when the threat was actually "neutralized". In most cases, when you fire at police, you will not live to tell the tale, even if you try to surrender after the fact. I'm all for accountability for wrongful death inflicted by law enforcement, but if you fire at police, I think you've lost your rights to a trial by your peers.
i agree but the women might’ve just been in the room there with him. the man suspect was the one with the gun. i’m not sure though if she was involved or not. she sounded like she wanted things to deescalate.
@@super-ew5mq Yeah that's why I'm glad she made it out OK...seemed like she was perhaps an innocent bystander. She could have easily been killed in the crossfire.
If you listen closely, you can hear the guy screaming after the first burst from the officer. After that, well, let’s just say he earned every one of those shots.
Well I agree to a point if the cop is completely in the wrong regardless no matter if they have that badge if they are 100% in the wrong and you are defending yourself and you take a life of an officer you're innocent look up John bad elk versus the state you'll get a better idea what I'm talking about
Yeah because cops are soooo respectful and demanding of your awe and reverence
unremarkable, well done. he is a true warrior to this world. these are the police men we need to see more often.
The woman screaming doesn't bother me. That is legit terror. Usually I hate screaming women. This cop is super badass. Not for rushin in or doin this job, but for just the sheer willpower to continue on.
Yeah man. People acting so tough but we would all be scared AF if we were in the middle of an armed criminal, and a pissed off cop blindfiring at ya
STAY IN THE FIGHT!!! Excellent work by this officer, remained engaged even after taking one to the chest. Only thing I would criticize is that he went in hot, without backup and put himself in danger. Hard work these days being a cop, keep up the good work!
That’s a hero right there!!! God bless you and continue to keep you safe!!!
Man this say alot about the brave officer he took the round like a god and got up and returned fire.Mad respect thank you to all the officers out there thank you.
