EXCELLENT HAUL! Seeing those ribs makes me sad... Those animals died to feed us, and there it is in the dumpster. if you hadn't come along.. it would have just rotted in the landfill. when it could have gone to a food bank or something. our world is kinda backward eh?
@@robynlea6950 we wouldn't have such a waste issue if we didnt over produce so much. We have such a need to see full, abundant, perfect looking shelves and produce sections of the grocery store. So much so that over 40% of what is grown is wasted before it even hits to stores. Then another 30% of that is wasted just by consumers just not eating up everything they buy. Other 1st world nations dont have this much waste. ( italy, france etc) What doesnt get sold, is given to food banks or animals so that everything is used. Not sure why North America hasnt caught on to this. Its just a waste of life.. waste of resources to feed and house those animals, who end up in landfills cuz a store couldn't sell the meat.

There are a few supermarkets who donate, sometimes to Cáritas, but very few. They throw out, way to much food. I remember, a few years ago, my husband and I, would get so many groceries, that we had milk for about six months, dozens and dozens of eggs, we also gave to other people our haul. Now adays there is hardly anything because there are so many people "Dumpster Diving". There are also supermarkets that douses with detergent or bleach on top of the food in the dumpster. That is just Evil. I'm sure there thinking, if they want it, then they can buy it. Or, If it's not for us, it's not for anyone.☹️
Imagine finding 2 boxes of ribs! My favourite meat. Flowered for the Mrs. are always nice to have. Everything else is great too. Stay safe and stay healthy.
Save the salmon, freeze, when you get more, can it up! Salmon on the pantry self for patties! It always amazes me how frugal daddy always has you on his mind, anytime he see's flowers or potted plants he gets them for you. Love that!! Awesome haul!!

But the dumpster is in a weird compromising area, so we haven't done it yet. Of course she would be the one climbing in as I am not able. I've never had those grain free pretzels. But as soon as I saw them, I paused the video and went on Instacart to order them. They also come in garlic flavor. It's funny, I go to Aldi every week. But never notice many items until I see you pick them out of the dumpster. I check the dumpster each time that I go. But seldom find anything. When I still drove, I used to find lots at two other Aldi's. Sometimes it was exhausting to process all of the food before going to bed. Even though it was fun to find it.
I would love to open my front door and have all of that food waiting on me to put it in the freezer if it's still frozen.those ribs still look frozen.great job frugal daddy.

Wow, wow, wow what a fantastic haul. Those ribs OMG those ribs I would put a pack in a pot of water sauerkraut a large onion. cook until tender. Boil some potatoes skins on or off and enjoy. My Mom used to call it Saurkraut Soup one of my favorites. Love this mega haul enjoy the fruits of FD labor.

We did once buy a small chest freezer when I got a huge meat hall. It was well worth it. We had over $1,000 in meat and the freezer was about $300.00. It has been very handy with all the things I find.
