If food prices were more reasonable, they wouldn’t have to throw stuff away. The price of eggs has more than doubled, and meat prices are forcing us to be vegan ( not a bad thing ), but what is left? I can’t live on pasta!
The food waste is nothing new and has nothing to do with current food prices. It's the corporate policies and it's been like this for years, decades maybe.
@@anitakillebrew9149 if nothing our stores have gotten better. Here they mostly give stuff to farms for animal food and food banks. They still throw stuff away, but near as much.
excellent hail FD !!! Wonderful job on scoring all that perfectly good food 👌 Now FM can can some apples and make some jam. Maybe even apple butter? Yummy. FD'S Dumpster dance was very well done, the grabber was a fantastic addition to the dance. 🤣😊❤❤👍🙌🙏
Hi Frugal Daddy and Mommy, I have to say that I the BEST DAY today dumpster driving. I had some time to kill while I was waiting for a friend in urgent care. So I drove over to the Mall where there are a lot of dumpsters. I didn't have my grabbers with me but I got several items out of one only because I couldn't reach them other items. Then I went to another one and there were Two mystery bag full of items and I pulled them out. It filled my trunk up. I haven't opened them yet because they are in my car. It was so late that I didn't have time to go to Aldi's. Maybe tomorrow. My friend was to I'll to watch me dumpster driving. It was so nice hearing from you esi
I was so happy FD didn’t narrate throughout so that he could focus and concentrate to get in n out. We get to see and hear it all in the end. I feel he’s safer that way. He can also hear ppl behind him better too that way. 👏👏
Too much fun! FD is so proud of himself, as he should be, it's not easy jumping out of a dumpstah! You know what, you folks should start the Dumpster Games! Events could include, carrying weighted boxes, sneaking a look for employees, camera & tripod usage, parking & toting stealth, but, best of all, the all fabulous dumpster mounting and escape maneuvers (all I can think of is getting out of the pool). If I lived closer, I'd volunteer to help organize! What can I do to help, long distance? Thanks for another great video. I appreciate your energy, all the love, and your joie de vivre ! 💖🦁🐑🕊✝🙏💖
Daddy did it again . Least the aldi workers packed some of the boxes for daddy so it was easier for him. My anxiety goes through the roof when daddy has some many boxes on the go in the dumpster. I just can't imagine how much money you must save in a year on food. That's was a great haul love the cheesecake
Here in PEI Canada: eggs/dozen $5.00; iceberg or romaine lettuce is $8.00; sandwich white low quality bread is $5.00; potatoes 5 lbs is $6.99: 3% milk 4 litres $9.00; mushrooms small package $8.00
Wow your prices are higher then ours in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 I just paid $2.99 on sale for 10 pounds of potatoes eggs again on sale for 30 $6.00 @ another store 12 for $3.29, mushrooms I paid $2.50 milk 2% 4 liters is $4.69
@@anneallison5610 The majority of milk is from the one company and the potatoes are also from the island. Importing foods is costly and it also depends on the weather, bringing the foods across the bridge. Next summer I shall grow more foods.

We got an Aldi a couple years ago. I'm thrilled because they have things so reasonably priced! Then l'm watchin Frugal Daddy& thinkin "l'm paying WAY too much for groceries!!!" At least HE can afford some MEAT!😂😂😂
This is just one store across this country and I am appalled at the things that get thrown in a dumpster, daily. This is just ONE store. This is embarrassing. I have to wonder if it’s this widespread in other countries, the food waste. God Bless people like you that try and save as much as you can. Also, I know the employees are only doing what they’re told but come on, let somebody keep it from a landfill!!!!😡
I'm writing my new member congress asking him to write some legislation about making it illegal to throw edible food out. If France can do it, so can we.
Frugal Daddy in 15minutes made hundreds of dollars in food. Keep up the important work you are doing saving items from the landfill. Happy holidays. Greetings from England
That was Absolutely An Amazing Haul!!! I don't think with everything you get out of the dumpsters that you have to buy much of anything from the store!!! That's just crazy to me!!! You are Definitely Blessed!!! God Bless you all through the Holiday Season!!!
Just breaks my heart when they throw the plants 🪴 away. I mean really all the stuff. But the plants are still living and have a change to come alive with some water. I always want to water then when I'm in the stores !
Pork fillet (tender loin) marinate in hoisin sauce overnight, bake in oven at 165°C for 25 - 30min and serve thinly sliced over fried rice with stir fry veg. Yum!
Wow, the way FD was pulling out the food all most box by box was like the store just pre packaged them up for him. FD, FD, Your order is ready. Well thank you Aldi!! How awesome 👍👍. Love you guys. Bye. ❤️❤️❤️
When I was a kid whenever I was tasked with fetching my dad a beer he would let me have the first sip. I remember loving it but had to aquire a taste for it as an adult. I haven't drank in over 10 years but I have fond memories of bear still.
Hi frugal dad and mom! Really enjoy you dumptstering looking closely for the food being rescued! You try to watch also dumpstering in Finland channel thai finish pero pusong pinoy! Frugal Daddy's eyes just before he got out of the car: he looked like a little kid in a candy store. That looked like a package of pork tenderloin to me.

Frugal Daddy as much as you love sweets try the baked beans home made you will want them all the time. Trust me. Fabulous haul. Frugal Momma make him some baked beans...lol
I remember the video where she found 30 pounds of potato salad and coleslaw. I think it was in a Save A Lot dumpster. I mean, she found this huge box that was still taped shut. She took it home and opened it. It had 5 containers of potato salad and 5 of coleslaw. That amazed me.
Frugal daddy, you're on one heck of a roll here lately with these dives. You're finding some really good stuff. Pat yourself on your back for a job well done! 👏
I love your posts. Years ago I lived with a dumpster diver and so appreciated all the goodies he brought home. The pfeffernuese cookies are something I grew up with as a child in Germany. I always get so excited when I find them at Aldi's clearance after Christmas. I would hurt myself if I found a whole case of them.
Me and my husband make grilled pizza. Homemade crust , home made sauce, deli sliced pepperoni and fresh mozzarella and herbs from my garden. And we cook them on our gas grill. It’s delicious! Our recipe makes 4 pizzas, personal size pizza.
Great score Frugal daddy!! Nice to see some food not wasted in the dumpster. Why can’t these stores put this food aside for food pantry’s to pick up? It could be a daily thing. I can’t see how our country even allows the waste of good food . I pray it changes. 😢

I like that he sometimes uses the grabber. This shows the way many of us who aren't able to easily climb in do it. He is very skilled using the grabber. It's much harder than it looks. I always use a grabber and hook, but I only go after everyone leaves.

Too lazy to water the plants that's my I thought of it stores don't care about watering the plants 😂🙂
