@scottwaltner4908 I see where I’ve made it confusing… there are LOTS of ways to play diminished chords… a lil tough to explain via comments so I’ll whip up a lil lesson n post it in Patreon to explain! Essentially tho, you’re right… B dim. can be played 435 or 4354 or 432 or 4321… or other ways too! I did it one way in the video n a different way in the tab! I’ll shoot for consistency… n a better lesson on diminished chords!!!
@@scottwaltner4908 Ouuu! It’s hard to explain via comment… but I’ll record a lil video n send/post it on left hand position! You don’t want to be holding the neck like, say how an axe handle might lay in one’s hand, like fully in your palm. I’ll get a video up Scott! It’s a good question!!!
@scottwaltner4908 I just posted this on Patreon… th-cam.com/video/OwHXoH0-3C8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RweyNO0XnXW4Zj_C hope it’s more helpful to answer your question!
@@scottwaltner4908yes! Def don’t have like, your hand angled backwards at the wrist Scott! Think a straight line, your forearm/wrist/hand are all inline with one another. Glad the short video was helpful!
I will do that.😅
Thanks Jacob, I cant wait to see how to incorporate these into other songs.
Hi Jake, the D dim chord it looks like you are playing 432. The pdf has 5 on the A, 3 on the D and 4 on the G.
@@scottwaltner4908 I’ll take another look soon & get back to you on what I was playing/the tab… I might have it messed up on the tab! 🤣

Thanks Jake. I have been working on your latest tune , Geminid pass, sure doesn’t sound like yours. I have a lot of work to do.
@@scottwaltner4908 keep after it, slowly but surely!!! Share your progress when you feel up to it!!!
Is it a bad habit to rest the neck on my play when playing? I have the neck cradled between my thumb and palm pad.

@@MyBluegrassRomancethanks for the video on the left hand Jake. I have to concentrate not to bend my wrist backwards and support the neck in my palm.😖
