Love it but I think the busy wallpaper takes away from the shelf and the items on it. I think that would have looked better on one of the plain painted walls
Watching the video too I was thinking the shelf should go on the neutral wall. Everything on the shelf gets lost in the wallpaper you can't even see what's on there. The wallpaper is great for an accent wall. Its so pretty!

Love the room! Did you know that you can usually remove the hardware above the lamp to make it easier for you? You just squeeze the sides inward and remove. I do think that the lamps you finally chose for her work better in the room.

I do dance competitions and one year one of the other teams left spray paint on the area around their dressing room. Everyone got in trouble so it now stresses me out
Yes I can relate My walls were hot pink bright orange and an ugly green 😂😂😂 every time I go to my parents house I still go into my room thinking I had no sense of style as a kid lol

I'm literally jealous of a 6 year olds bedroom! It turned out amazing! Also, I hope this doesn't sound weird but pink is your color (if that's the color tank top you were wearing)! That thought came to mind as you were hanging the shelf; the color just really compliments your skin and your hair!
It's a nice room but consider moving that shelf to another wall or take some things out cause it might be a little dangerous having all ot that stuff over her head (you know in case of an earthquake)

I just watched this whole thing while cleaning my kitchen! Holy moly, girl, Kinsley’s room is incredible! Love the wallpaper and the nightstands! You guys worked so hard and it turned out so so beautiful! I’d sleep there in a second 😍

@@lovinglifeasmegan If a pin doesn't work try very small slices with a razor blade or exacto knife. I couldn't get bubbles out of mine either with just a small pin prick but the "bigger" slices worked perfectly and blended well.
Megan, I absolutely agree with you. I as well am very jealous of your daughters room!! But I definitely cannot go another day without that throw blanket!! It’s gorgeous💜
I love to DIY and give things new purpose.About 75% of the furnishings in my home are things that I was given,found,or bought dirt cheap and I gave them new life by refinishing or painting them.It gives me a sense of accomplishment .Your daughter's room is beautiful.She will have many years of sweet dreams in that comfy bed.I need to look into that for myself! 😆

The room looks absolutely gorgeous and perfect! Your wallpaper skills are phenomenal! It looks so hard to apply wallpaper especially to line up each image per piece and making it all look uniform as one large image across the wall and without bubbles you're an extremely talented genius! The room is perfect for a young girl, teenager and grown woman while still being feminine and fun for any age, the colours are such a pretty neutral to match any pictures and furniture choices over the years but still so interesting, fun and pretty as a background to blend together! I just redecorated my small bedroom and I love it but I love what you created so much I want a room like that too! I would just like to suggest it would of been better to take the bed side drawers out for a full spray paint because it looks incomplete and more obvious it was a DYI paint job when you see half of the wood colour in contrast to the white as you pull the drawers further out but otherwise everything looks amazing! I absolutely love it great job! You're such a wonderful mum, your daughter must be so happy! 💖🥰🌷🌼💐💗🕊👍
Most grown up 6 year old I've ever heard of! I personally would have loved to see those night stands the same colour as the shelf over the bed. They'd stand out against the wall. But just a gorgeous transformation. I can't believe she's 6 and picked out all that stuff!
@@lovinglifeasmegan haha. This is why my projects have been in my attic for 3 years. I was going to do them when I first moved in, then i got my new job. Now....well I've done NOTHING over covid (thank you depression), so in the attic they still sit. I have the stain, my sander, everything. Just haven't done it

My room is ridiculously small but when I moved in there we went with 2 dark pink wallpaper walls and 2 light pink wallpaper walls with lip accents on it and I absolutely love it; still struggle with room because of furniture but it goes well with everything
I love that you got her a love plant for her bedroom. Fiddleleaf figs are beautiful, but very temperamental so be sure to look up the care and help her out.

When I got to pick out the colors for my room when I was six the walls were teal and the trim was magenta (it was more horrible than you’re thinking)

Take a needle or pin and stick into the air bubbles and that will help get that area smooth. Looks good!
