Love mine, easily the most fun knife I have, and the blade shape is very functional. V1 is flat ground S35VN, larger jimps, same texturing on button. It's better than the Smock.
Looks like another winner. As a Lefty, I'm excited for this one. Especially if they do the right thing and release a micarta version and perhaps a Ti and a CF. Sounds like we'll get some of those sweet hollow acoustics too. So many WINS!
Beware of the button on these. I'd recommend breaking it down and putting some type of thread lock on it first thing if you get one. Mine only lasted 2 days before it flew off. I didn't know it was threaded on. Took months to get a replacement. Also, if it comes lose at all, the exposed threads grind and make the button feel gritty and it will get hung up when trying to close the blade.

The jimping is similarly styled on the original, and, if anything, adequately aggressive, not at all slick. I like the texture on the G10 of the original and ( don’t laugh ) find the shape of the handle from the finger groove to the ricasso to resemble a head in profile. White Mountain Knives has been hinting that they will have the V2. Keep up the good work 👌🏼

Just got my V2 yesterday from WMK. Best action and lockup I've ever felt on a button lock, without question. I don't like the white G10, mine's gonna get a dye job for sure, just not sure what color yet.

@@HollywoodTacticool I did. They didn't charge me anything. They just sent me the little button at no charge. Took months though between the back and forth through email to sort it out and then shipping from over seas.
Most button locks are considered ambidextrous because you can use it just the same with a different finger, but this one's button does pop out a little far for lefty reverse flick but is still pretty easy, the unlocking and use of lock is just as easy
I want so many more designs like this!! I just said that a cpl weeks ago that we need more 3+ deployment knives like the Nymble and that 2nd Oknife model

Gotta see a full comparison between this and the kansept edc tac. I'm interested in both of these, and although this has more deployment options, am leaning more toward the looks of the kansept. Thanks for the upload.

But, that one you got is the one I'm interested in, especially where SOG gives 50% off to Veterans. I may get one of those soon, but I'm trying to save with Christmas coming. I'm glad there's more options with Lefty Love out there these days. The lack of options is why my collection is so small, and obviously cause we can't spend all our monies on toys. That's my excuse not to buy stuff, haha.
Have to say I love the blade and all it’s facets. Really don’t dig the scales or the black & white, especially in the reverse pocket clip area. Kizer’s clips leave something to be desired too, it’s just something you got to live with.
Is there any way to get the XX scales? As in order or custom or anything. Help!!! Haha I like the V2 better than the V1 and actually picked one up even though I don't like the triple line scales.

Well this is a prototype it will be in stock any day now when I posted this it was in transportation from overseas, but 98% of my videos are knives that are available, but sometimes the people that watch when the video uploads gets the first picks, so sometimes they sell out until they come back in stock
No he won't because the button pops out to far and his finger will touch it making him have to adjust his finger in a different way to get perfect action

I am begging for a more subdued version of this knife. No x’s, no lines, no squid games themes. The same richlite that is on the Towser K would be awesome on this. Or even solid black G10. Come on Yue give the people what they want!
You tripping bro. I owned both, and I can tell you they are very different. Different blade shape, different lock:, different opening mechanisms. Smock uses a compression lock with a button, the lock on the Cormorant is totally new.

I'm left handed. And the button lock button is a problem for me sometime. Its not ambidextrous if button is on wrong side

How does this compare with the smock, mainly in terms of the blade, and where you hand naturally falls?
The smock is more expensive, you can feel that the smock has a bit more quality but still very similar, the smock is slightly larger as well

The wanderer is good it's on washers not bearings though but yes they have many great models the T1 the Guru and many more

I've the original but the new one is better. The small flaws of the first have been corrected I think. But both are exceptional
