I miss 2021-2022. First time I got to experience this wonderful creation. I don't think I ever cried so much in a series, let alone, anime series. I thank the most wonderful person for showing me this amazing series when we were together
I'm literally watching the first episode and the moment this started playing, my jaw dropped. I love it. I love a good OST and this gives me hope for what's looking to be a pretty great anime.

I think it might just have been for the sake of tradition. In the anime industry, if the voice actors know how to sing, then it's not uncommon for them to sing the intro or end songs for the show. Riko and Regs voice actors are the ones that sing the opening they use for most of the show.
The lyrics of the opening are more fitting for the plot of the show
More shows should have unique openings like monster
I get emotional easily due to my life situation and past experiences. Watching the first episode and hearing this song paired with the animation almost made me burst into tears. Absolutely beautiful.
If you are looking for beautiful and heartwarming series, I suggest you to log out and turn right to Aria right away. The later episodes will rip your heart out, ground it on the gravel, and shove it right back in.

這首真的好棒，13話開頭就被這首深深吸引。
其實第一話開頭就已經很多人佩服這首歌了
如果穩穩的，基本可以確定是七月霸權的動畫，BGM場場神，第八集18分鐘告別回憶錄配上那BGM...讓我至少有一分鐘的時間徹底變迷妹，簡直讚爆。
自從鋼鍊之後已經很少有動畫可以帶給我如此強悍的衝擊力了，女主身世悲慘，孤兒、突然得知老媽死掉了，但她在抓到線索後卻完全沒有放棄前進，這種個性上的堅強、果斷與覺悟在看到第八話後我恍然大悟...小莉可遺傳到萊莎了啦！
總而言之這是這季...乃至09年鋼鍊以來第二部讓我感受到什麼叫腦子高潮變迷妹的動畫，原本以為自從IS跟最二王冠以後大概動畫界已經一灘死水了，沒想到突然殺出這黑馬，七月霸權無庸置疑。
千言萬語匯作一句話，對於來自深淵這部作品，我只想說：
願你的旅途，處處充滿了深淵的詛咒與祝福。

I think its "luring me down" instead of "who I am me now", "To solve" instead of "I found", and "Let it shine and let it grow" instead of "Many shine and many grow".
But I could also be wrong :p

That's because the composer is Australian, therefore a native English speaker.
Most of them are mixed Japanese.
Full OST normally made from studio that has collaboration with western studio. Made in Abyss is a good example of it since the studio who took care of the OST are actually not Japanese.

If theyre not making a second season of this show, this story could easily become an amazing single player experience game. The feelings of the abyss is such an untapped game direction. Some games do that whole 'deep spelunking adventure' kind of thing but this is such a unique, bespoke vibe that people should get to feel. Maybe in the same vain as Outer Wilds if you get me

Do we consider the beautiful pantomime scenes that played out while this OST? Or the sense of mystery and longing the song invokes in your heart? Or how her journey back is so reminiscent of real life long distance trips where we sometimes become hitchhikers? Beautiful lyrics, wonderful vocals , great atmosphere ... i think from the scene this song plays, youre already hooked and expectant of a rollercoaster of emotions. I was rewatching the show trying to figure out where i fell in love and i think its from the moment this song comes on, from this moment onward i just wanted to see riko thrive no matter what. I've been trying to figure out this song's time signature for a long time anyone have an idea? I thought 3/4 but if I count the notes it ends up not working after a bit. Bit of a rookie in theory maybe someone more experienced has an idea.
