I now see where Morrissey gets his distinctive singing style from. He imitates the mannerisms of female british singers like Sandie Shaw here, but because he's a man and a baritone, it comes off as sounding completely different both from Sandie Shaw and from the other male singers at the time who didn't adopt these mannerisms. But I don't know shit about music theory or voices so feel free to correct me.
This is so strange. A show where they bring older musician to hangout with kids. Then in turn, older people who are fans of the smiths have to watch this kids show because Morrissey and Johnny appear in it, then we get shown some woman who we don't care about singing. And then there's some kind of thing that they made that says "charlie bus" and a kid has to push it to play a video???
