Nah Fury Road was crap. As a kid one of the best things about the first 2 movies was seeing so many classic Aussie cars on the big screen. Fury Road didn’t have that, you had Max’s Interceptor and 1 Valiant Charger strapped to some Tank Tracks and that was it. The rest of the cars were American crap and just other crap. And then they take away the interceptor for like 98% of the movie and when they bring it back they just pancake it for no good reason, like the interceptor is probably the most iconic and memorable part of the Mad Max franchise and they gave it 2 minutes screen time where it got bastardised by the war boys and then crushed, it was almost insulting. Fury road certainly wasn’t as bad as Thunderdome, but it didn’t hold a candle to the first 2 movies.

My dad was born in 72 so he was a Kid when Mad Max first came out. But he was the one who got me into them, so they were a little dated when I was first watching them as a kid as well.
