Yup, it was the 2nd song on their self-titled 5th album 'Blur', it's also got 2 verses and 2 choruses, and runs for 2 minutes and 2 seconds long. There are two drum kits being pounded, one by their drummer and the other by their lead guitarist, facing each other in the studio. It was done almost as a joke, with the nastiest sounding guitar they could make, fully expecting their label to hate it. It's almost a parody of America's grunge scene, with deliberately nonsensical lyrics. The joke backfired somewhat when the record execs absolutely loved it. It was released as a successful single reaching number 2 in the UK charts, and ironically became their most successful single in the US, and despite their own feelings about it, their fans expected it to be played at every gig.
Love this song! 🔥The lead singer for Blur, Damon Albarn, is also the leader of Gorillaz. You should hit the song "5/4" from them! The title refers to the musical time signature it's played in. You'll really like this one Chod & Dee! 🔥😎 Some other great Gorillaz tracks are "Tomorrow Comes Today", "Slow Country", and "Clint Eastwood".
If you didn’t already know, quite a few of Blur’s early singles and albums’ art work were created by Banksy 👍🏻 and he’s a long-time friend with lead singer Damon Albarn and fellow artist Jamie Hewlett (Gorillaz co-creators) 🤙🏻
Whenever people say that English singers loose their accents when they sing I always think of blur, arctic monkeys, madness, Lily Allen, Ellie golding, oasis, Elton John, David Bowie To me the singers are all obviously English when you listen to them, but I know some may be harder to discern for people who haven't grown up around these accents
The singer Damon Albarn was also creator of Gorillaz
Yes you right
He also went to my school lol sorry
You just blew my mind haha now it’s all I can hear!

So many Blur songs to suggest. One of my favorites is Coffee and TV and also the official video with the icon milk carton.

It would be interesting to compare this to one of Blur's more, "sedate" songs , ie There's No other Way. or Country House.

Coxon is one of the greatest in the last 30 years 🤙🏻
You might wanna react to, Michael Jackson’s drummer Jonathan Moffett performs Smooth Criminal since you’re a drummer yourself. Pretty impressive.
Nice intro
It was in FIFA 92
Love your drums! This band is the predecessor to the Gorillaz. You'd like Dare & Feel Good Inc,
Whoever suggested this wanted to see if they recognize the vocals of the Gorillaz song before :D

Please React to Something In The Orange - Zack Bryan

More punk than a lot of the fake-punk of the mid 1990's
