- Runs a little longer than i'd like at 32 Mins but A spin over to Snowdonia for a Epic Hike over Tryfan, Glyder Fach & Glyder Fawr and down via the Devils Kitchen, Average 1 MPH speed, 10.7 Miles in 10 Hours 52 mins give you a clue as to terrain involved but a Awesome day out
Videos like this are treasure for people like me, that haven't been yet, but planning to go. Thanks very much, invaluable resource.
Hi Derek, Thanks for watching and the comment, it was a cracking day out but i did make it harder than need be by going down the Scree from Tryfan, cold have skirted round from the saddle and not lost all the altitude to have to regain it again but it's all calories burned lol, Have a great hike when you go, Andy

Hi, Thanks for watching , Yeah was a great day out , i made it a fair bit harder than it needed by dropping off of Tryfan down the scree and then back up , i could have stayed on the same altitude for the transition but you live and learn lol, Andy
@@AndyKdq I'm planning on doing Glyder Fawr & Glyder Fach via the Devils kitchen in a couple of weeks so I've been watching a few videos to get an idea of the route. I did Tryfan last year and loved it , so different to most mountains I've climbed. Your video took me back to the views you get from the top :)

Planning to this on Saturday, north ridge over tryfan then Glyder fach and fawr, realistically it’s going to take 11 hours isn’t it? I’m not a pro and do need some rest breaks?
Hi Zahir, it's a cracking hike , i made it harder than i needed though by dropping down the Scree after Tryfan to then regain the height to Glyder Fach when i could have stayed height in the shoulder and gone around to the same place, That would have save a fair bit of time and energy to be fair but it's still a good day out so don't under estimate, the drop off from Glyder Fawr down to Devils kitchen is slow going as steep scree but take your time and watch foot placement be fine, Poles would probably have helped on that section but didn't have any at that time, Andy

Did only tryfan on Saturday and really enjoyed it, we ended up more left up north ridge which was definitely more dangerous but defo worth it
