*Great air pump **MyBest.Tools** Faster than my old plug in pump and twice as handy without having to drag the cord around. And it works with my existing Ryobi drills battery.*
There is a new model of this that is 20V only. I’m on the list to get one . I have a ton of 20V batteries. This is one of the smarter decisions Dewalt has made. Glad they are listening to the consumer
I’ve got a Mk1 545 which lives on a 15” bar. It’s had a 18” for quite a while. I never fitted anything longer. I went with the rule of thumb of divide the cc by 3. Anything bigger would need semi skip chain to get the best from the saw. But the original had an output of 2.5kW, whereas the Mk2 got an upgrade to 2.7kW. So maybe the extra oomph has enabled a longer bar. Still a great saw. Manoeuvrable, light and revs up quickly. Plus being a reliable saw. When mine partially seized due to a slight air leak, after 9+yrs. of faultless service, I came real close to buying another while mine was being rebuilt. The only reason I didn’t, was I knew I wouldn’t need two 545s. So I still have the 545 Mk1, for when I need a lighter weight saw. At only 10.8LBs it’s a great saw for smaller trees and clearing out up a tree. For bigger sticks and stuff, I have other saws.
How new is this format? The tool review, not lugnut films. I think I picked you up just before the last bus build and so happy I did. I remember the references to the first bus build but could not find a lot of detailed video about it. The last build is a detailed how to collection, glad I was able to fallow along. Looking forward to more reviews, Thank you and safe travel. Until you get back to Charlotte N.C.
How about using it for an air blower? My son & I have RC vehicles & when we’re out bashing with them we have to wait until se get home to clean them. We’d rather do it in the field. Please advise Thank you
I bought one , died with about 8-10 uses . I am retired from many trades and treat tools very well . My guess is that I was used to it leaking air randomly , I would turn it off because my use was mostly less than 1/4 hour needs --- because of the leaking [ another issue ] I did not want to listen if not needing air , then assuming that the next time I needed air - about 1/2 hour later I turned it back on - it grunted & died --- again my guess is that it had leaked very little maybe 70-80 lbs. and trying to turn the pump back on against 70-80 lbs killed it . Took it apart , both to find the leak & see if I could get it going again ;) Well it has a circuit board in a plastic box , and is potted [ filled with something like a hard silicone ] dided try to dig out the board , with components so small these days - figured a lot of work to expose and probably do damage removing potting ;) The new board comes attached to all of the wiring , compressor etc. and cost as much as new --- NOT GOING TO DO THAT AGAIN .
Would this have the capacity and power to be used as an air duster / blower? I’m looking for a cordless, compact air compressor to have in my van to blow out machine polishing pads but can’t seem to find any info on them as to their effectiveness as an air blaster. Thanks in advance.
@@stitchthisditchthat259 Nah, I couldn’t justify it with how little I do paint correction work at the moment. Maybe when business picks back up again I’ll look into it.
Better and MIA combined with weight reduction looks like a winner . Thank you gotta like the strange drone delivery I guess they will smooth out the landing .
I just read the comments on this air compressor everybody says it's a waste of money the battery they provide you give you 15 minutes of run time not worth $3 29 or whatever they're saying you would have to have 6 7 8 batteries just run a 6-hour shift and one guy said he had problems right out of the box and they want him to pay shipping back and you imagine how much that would cost
Jeez! The Tank is TOO small for a 60V Lithium Ion Battery Operated Air compressor ❗is there any other model for dewalt using a 60V?? Or perhaps a 12 gallon air tank
r u kidding... listen to how loud these are ... try using fluid or water and pump that into an air tank to then push air out compressed, use several internal alternating air and hydro tanks to achieve silent air compressors ... jesus christ already
I bought it yesterday and I had my doubts, after watching this video I do not regret having purchased it, thank you very much

What was battery life like after that sequence of trails? Before and after?
Tightest intro ever!!!

soon as the package arrived! Like button pressed! Immediately!
😆
@@Lugnutfilms so good you guys have the variety of choices there in the US. Im from where the tools are limited. Cant find these in Malaysia.
I'm glad I stumbled across this channel. Awesome videos.
Man I just subbed your channel and I can't get enough of these cool ass intros
Thanks! It’s kinda a new theme we are just starting.

The way the tool review is filmed?
You deserve Oscars!
Great great intro and vid. Wish you ran a framing nailer on it to test as well though.
Is the hose included?
Can it be used for 21d framing nailer too ?
Can you review a right angle impact by milwaukee

I think it would work fine for that. Especially if it is just short blasts of air.
This dewalt vs Milwaukee brushless cordless 2 gallon which is better ?
How do you think this would work using for hardwood flooring?

The cinimatics!!!!!!! Subbed!
Great production!
Do you think this would work with a snap on air hammer recommended air psig is 90 so just wondering?
Fantastic Video!!!!
Great production! Smoke, fist punch the box. What’s not to love.
Will it run a 6 gallon oil extractor?
That's a nice little compressor
Hi thanks for your video, could you please test it how it performs with a gravity spray paint gun?
I need average 50psi (10-+) continues pressure
It would have a really hard time keeping up
How many feet long is the air hose?
It doesn’t come with a hose. That has to be purchased separately.
@@Lugnutfilms I was just curious on the length for the performance u tested. 25 ft or 50 ft. 1/4 inch?
i want to see the flexvolt advantge against the 60v compressor
wow. made in the USA!
How did the battery life look like after all that nailing??

Can I use this for my impact wrench when installing tires?
lol. I doubt it.
I want it to c how much battery was left from a full charge ?
Yeah we should have put that in. After the video we had 2 bars left on the battery.
@@Lugnutfilms how long did u run it for ?
Pretty much the length of the time it runs in the video
In what season of Yellowstone is this episode on?
😆
How long does the battery last?
could you try it spay painting?
Will it run a frame nailer?
It may be able to but probably not be able to keep up if doing a lot of shots in a row.

who will build the first cordless brushless "quiet" compressor with aluminum lightweight tank ?
This has all that except the aluminum tank.
@@Lugnutfilms how quiet is this? like California compressors you hardly hear them run
How to buy in Indonesia?
Amazon
That's nice 🔥
Good vid
But how much battery was left after all that is the real question
2 bars
@@Lugnutfilms not too bad!
I'm going to be looking for this product.

great!!!!!!
Dafuq? Is this a movie or review, the videography is great
Looks like a good product but the editing of this video was way way too aggressive at some point and it hurts my eye.
What part?
Excellent review very well done, whoever was behind the camera must have Parkinson’s cause all that movement made me nauseous.
👍 ☕️ @ 0:30 😉

It would have been more interesting without the stupid package delivery.
What? Everyone (except you) loves that part.
