Another great video, thanks gentlemen! I remember when the P227 was first introduced, still have the American Rifleman magazine featuring the ‘new’ P227 on the cover. I believe the review was by Mr. Wiley Clapp. Anyway these are really nice pistols, and it is unfortunate that Sig discontinued them after a few years. As I remember the P227 could use the same holster as the P220, one of the selling points. Nowadays Sig seems to focus more on the striker fired / polymer pistol market, but I tend to prefer the older P2xx models. Just me 😊.
Indiana State Police ate still running the Sig 227. They have enough guns and parts to run them for 20 years but with the current Superintendent retiring in January we will see. Was a 220 guy myself for a duty gun.
Awesome video as always. I wanted to ask the best 1911 channel what's your thought on the checkering on the springfield new model TRP ? friend of mine got one and to me it's a bit aggressive. i'm most likely just a sissy about it cuz I usually run plain jane ones.
As always I appreciate your support my fellow southpaw. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the new TRP's very aggressive machine cut checkering but some folks love it, it's all about personal preference my friend! Stay safe partner! ~ YB
Nice trifecta! The P227 is on my "to buy" list. Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome, thanks for watching!
I found a P227 TacOps at a great price several years ago. It is a great suppressor host. Don’t shoot it much. It’s a beast of a pistol.
I agree with you totally! They shouldn't have discontinued the P227 and like you said the P225-A1. I have the P227 in FDE. Nice collection sir!
Thanks my friend, I agree it's a shame they discontinued these models! ~ B9USA

I've seen a few at gun shops with VERY high price tags. They do feel nice in our hands.
Your channel is awesome! Thanks for still making gun videos for all of us
You are most welcome! I appreciate your support, keep an eye out for some more new videos coming out soon! 😎

You're a lucky man to have 3 Sig227. And I love the SRT in my 229, there great pistols
Thanks, I agree! The SRT trigger is SIGnificantly better than the standard SIG p series trigger. 😉 ~ B9USA
I remember watching your first videos on your SAS and the full size P227... It doesn't seem like ten plus years ago!
Can you still get these from the custom shop??
Did SIG offer a compact size in 45 ACP?
I wanted both the P227 and the P225A1 when they discontinued both. I was bummed.
10lb trigger lol yikes I’m used to my 2011 at 2.5lb
