Russian tactics have evolved, but the biggest operational development is Kursk, where matador's cape first flourished, enabling a greater palette of options available to the Russian General Staff Command. The tactics you've touched upon, are meat and drink in the six years it takes to train a Russian Officer. @@andersonarmstrong2650 Meat-wave is a purely propaganda term, used to denigrate the opposing side towards your own civilian population. It has no military meaning. However, I do stand by the assessment that early war Russian tactics evolved around mechanized waves much more than today. My understanding is that this doctrine prioritizes larger movements aiming at breaking through and then enveloping the enemy from the rear. But what we've seen in Ukraine is that combined with a lack of air superiority and the usage small drones and precision artillery, this doesn't work anymore, since your mechanized vehicles become easy targets. The Russians suffered heavy losses in their early mechanized attacks (such as Ugledar, back in early 2023). The solution we've come up with seems to be small squads moving both with and without mechanized cover, aiming at seizing key and foremost defendable positions, which can then be held. This leads to the leap-frogging advances we are seeing, where ground is chipped away bit by bit. Western analysts love to denigrate the Russian tactics as "devolving to world war 1", trying to conjure up images of the first day of the Somme, when in reality they are much more "spring of 1918". If Trump is to replicate what Putin has achieved in Russia, first he must make it illegal for any American with dual citizenship to hold any public or military office, at any level.. America first needs to become America only.
I don't see how Russia can conclude this war achieving their stated objectives. Even the most optimistic estimations are Russia is nowhere near mobilized sufficiently to cross the Dnieper River and take Odessa. Only an advance of that magnitude can force Ukraine to the bargaining table to actually agree to the stated aims that include disarming Ukraine to a token military and regime change, as well as enforced respect for the rights of Russian speakers. And just this week there was a reported briefing to Ukraine's Ministry of Defense claiming up to 7 tons of reactor plutonium, sufficient for hundreds of small yield weapons about 1 / 10 the second bomb at Nagasaki.
First of all taking Odessa is not an official goal because it's unrealistic and Russians are not looking to cross Dniper River because Russia does not havr the manpower and Ukraine can easily defend the Dniper and to bring Ukraine to negotiating table it will be enough to take over whole Donbass and Zaporzhizia that will mean Ukraine would have lost nearly 30% of its territory which will force Ukraine to come to table although I dont think Russia will be able to get much concessions from Ukraine other then staying neutral on top of it in no way West will let Ukraine develop nuclear weapons
In your opinion, nothing changes for Ukrainians over the course of the war? I'll tell you a secret, if Russia reaches Odessa, then by that time the Ukrainian army will be so exhausted that it will surrender the city faster than another village is now on the front line... A year ago, they could hold an important city for months, now the Russians capture cities in a week or a month, as well as defensive structures that seemed impregnable a year ago. Think more broadly, this is a war of attrition, Russia's main goal is to destroy the enemy's army, and territories come as a bonus. There are no normal trenches beyond the Dnieper, and there is a serious shortage of people in Ukraine. When everything reaches beyond the borders of Donbass, everything will fall down even faster for Ukrainians there
Why cross the Dnieper before the collapse of the UAF, just look how much territory is on the left bank of the Dniepr. Also the Dnieper is already crossed, in the North(Belarus), so there is no need to cross it again. The russians also have no interest in negotiations, unless the ukranians just accept every russian demand(not actual negotiations just capitulation with a different name). Zelensky and Ukraine might want a bomb, but it's not as easy as they make it out to be. They would need a massive nuclear program, complemented by a massive rocket program. Not going to happen while they are fighting for survival. There never was a nuclear program in Ukraine, just nuclear weapons of the old USSR. Were there ukranian scientists working on nuclear weapons? Yes, but not alone, part of huge complex. It's like saying that if some engineers that build the B2 bomber went to Egypt, they can buil a B2 bomber. No, they couldn't, they would have 0 industrial base for such an enterprise. What Ukraine could do is build a dirty bomb. Just put explosives in a drone, some plutinonium, and you would have a dirty bomb. It would not be more effective than a regular explosion, it would just contaminate the are, until the scrub teams arrive. Actual damage would be minimal, whatever the target is. The risk? Complete anihilation, as the nuclear red line has been crossed. Not one country in the world would support Ukraine. The russians would be free to do a Gaza with actual nukes, or whatever they wanted for revenge. Doubtful Ukraine would be allowed to exist.

Two completely different wars. Rapid advancement is possible only if one side has tanks, and other side dont have any sufficient number of anti-tank weaponry.
Russians deployed in to ukraine aprox 400-450k including 100-150k still in Russia on northern borders. Facing aprox 1,5milion troops initially. Soviet deployment in ww2 10milion+ troops facing 2milion initialy. Plus all the countries thsf switch sides depend on which country arrived at their borders, yes that's Ukraine, Romania, Latvia, Estonia, lithuania, etc... which increased soviet strength by further 2-4milions You comparing pears to plums
I'm surprised to see this kind of view even now. It's a war of attrition. Once one side is weakened enough, there will come a tipping point. And that's when all the movement will happen.
Soviet army was 4 million soldiers. This one is about 500-700 thousands. The thing you miss this a special operation, not a total sacred war Soviet Union declared during WW2. Russia using just a part of it's army and mobilizing potential.
Freedom and democracy are always things that are fought for and won, and cannot be maintained or sustained by lip service or by "good-naturedness." It goes without saying that freedom cannot be maintained by honesty alone. The use of force against those who undermine these ideals or behave in a completely opposite manner will inevitably be proportionate to the degree of the ferocity of the adversary. At least when the United States intervenes militarily, it always unwaveringly proclaims universal ideals such as the establishment of "freedom, democracy, and humanitarianism." However, the only thing that comes out of the mouths of Russian and Chinese leaders is "the glory and domination of the Russian and Chinese nations." Which of the two, the United States or "Russia and China," would humankind, who aspire to freedom and independence, want to see ruled by? The answer is self-evident.

There is evidence that Ukrainian troops have been indiscriminately shelling civilians in Donbas (they used petal mines and targeted areas where there was no military presence).
The azov troops trapped in the azovstal steelworks in Mariupol used human shields. They refused to allow civilians to leave despite of humanitarian corridors being present.
Russia held a proposed cease fire in order for the civilians to leave, but azov would not allow the civilians to leave.
Ukraine has committed many acts of terrorism (car bombs and other forms of assassination). Darya Dugina (journalist) R.I.P.
The first terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed the truck driver and the individuals in the adjacent car (innocent civilian victims).
The second terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed two parents and severely injured their young daughter.
I have done a lot of research and it took me a long time to write this comment. I have stated a lot of facts and I have given my honest opinion.
I have provided a brief summary of events that took place. In order to explain this whole situation in great detail, a book would need to be written.
Hopefully someone will write an UNBIASED book, stating facts and allowing the readers to form their own judgments. Everything I said can be fact checked and verified.

If Trump is to replicate what Putin has achieved in Russia, first he must make it illegal for any American with dual citizenship to hold any public or military office, at any level..

No new narratives for 3 months. Meanwhile gains are 50 sq km per day.
The first priority is for the invading forces to withdraw from the occupied territories. Humanity will never tolerate injustice.
How many years they annually vote at UN for Israel withdrawal from occupied territories? Any progress?
What about USA withdraw from Iraq? I mean they occupy this country for 20+ years already
@@musehtaicho You cultists always bring up Israel.
Since the day after Israel was founded, it has been unilaterally invaded by the Arab countries around it. Some Arab countries have recently adopted a conciliatory approach after receiving severe retaliation, but terrorists continue to launch missile attacks on Israeli territory from abroad. For Israel, this is an exercise of its right to self-defense. However, even though Russia has not been attacked at all, it has created a delusional enemy based on a victim mentality and unilaterally invaded its peaceful neighbor. We need to recognize that the issues of Israel and Ukraine are fundamentally different.

I have been following your channel since a year , I believe the russian army is not gaining and to put things in the right perspective, suppose the red army in the second world war was moving in this manner , I think the red army wouldn't reach Berlin before 2200
Two completely different wars.
Plus all the countries thsf switch sides depend on which country arrived at their borders, yes that's Ukraine, Romania, Latvia, Estonia, lithuania, etc... which increased soviet strength by further 2-4milions
You comparing pears to plums
I'm surprised to see this kind of view even now.
It's a war of attrition. Once one side is weakened enough, there will come a tipping point. And that's when all the movement will happen.
Soviet army was 4 million soldiers. This one is about 500-700 thousands. The thing you miss this a special operation, not a total sacred war Soviet Union declared during WW2. Russia using just a part of it's army and mobilizing potential.
Essa não é uma guerra móvel como a segunda, é uma guerra estática como a primeira, a tecnologia evoluiu ao ponto de anular completamente o tanque
