I think one of the reasons the dark works so well is that having a level of saturation really makes your other features pop. In contrast to a less saturated blonde, having something with a little more power behind it really adds visual interest, and it really suits you. It somehow both adds a maturity and sophistication, while also making you look youthful and alive. All in all, it looks phenomenal!

I love the dark hair!! I think the red undertone makes your skin look even better. The light/blonde kind of makes your skin seem washed out, or pale. It makes your hair not look boring if that makes sense. It also looks so much healthier.

I'm loving the dark hair sooo much! Sophisticated Tara ! I used to make egg and mayo hair mask before any perms or color. Put my hair in great shape. I do 1/4 Cup honey in a gallon of warm water as a rinse after shampooing. Leaves so much shine, not sticky at all, just dissolve it really good before you rinse with it. ❤

you can still see the red/purple undertone because your blonde didn’t get filled but i honestly love that you still have dimension to your dark hair from your previous highlights! you might just have to dye it again to get it to stick on the bleached parts better because that hair is more porous and not holding onto the dye as well (the blonde was will likely fade over time anyways so the red tone may come out over time as well) but the dark hair seriously looks so good and just matches you perfectly🖤 i was one of the people rooting for the dark for at least a year lol

Dyed my hair darker as soon as I hit the second trimester and I felt the exact same way you did. Like I entered an entirely new era of life. My hair is naturally super dark. I recently cut out all my old blonde and cut it pretty short. I cut almost 10 inches off. I feel so confident and soo good having my natural hair! Entering our natural self era!!
Getting out of winter is nice. I live in Michigan, the last few weeks we had snow, than extreme cold, more snow followed by ice. Now the temps have been warm enough for rain and we had to deal with melting snow and fog along with rain.
You know what I think would look absolutely phenomenal on you? A rich, chocolate brown, with some long extensions! I knew you would always look so good with brown hair but I didn't think I would be this obsessed! I feel like we need it darker! Ooof good call with the hair Tara!

Tara, put rosemary water on your hair (scalp). It’s natural and great for hair growth. You can use the oil, too, but I think the water is, perhaps, easier. You can, even, make your own. I think the dark hair makes your hair look healthier and makes you look younger, but yet mature and sophisticated at the same time. Have fun with your family in Florida. 😊
Box dye is just as "healthy" as salon dye. Dye is dye. Don't let anyone tell you different. You look great. Dark hair suits you so much better! You look vibrant!
I agree with everyone else on the hair! Gorgeous! 😄 Tip from my hairdresser: You can use blue shampoo/shampoo for bleached hair on dark/brown hair, too. This will help remove and prevent redness.
