It's been modified to insert a zipper, and then it can be used to fill it with some lightweight travel clothes for that emergency when the airlines lose your luggage.
Here's a link to her tutorial and channel where you'll find a printable link to her pattern if preferred. • DIY Travel Pillow | Ho...

I was made it today, it was just one hour. Thanks!
That's awesome Mirandola. Well done!😀
Genius!!
I will make this for me but I will add string to the ends to tie so that I can hang it on my luggage (a loop will work also) and free my hands while not in use.
Thank you for figuring this out for us. The lining makes it first class.
Adding the ties is a great idea Lina😁
You are my very favorite person on the internet today! I’m leaving for my very first trip to Europe in less than two week. I am soooo excited to make this for myself and my dear friend who will be going with me. Aloha & mahalo to you, Christine. 😊
Thank you Margaret. Have a fabulous holiday😁
You’re amazing, thank you for demystifying this for the novice sewers with big dreams of travel minimalism 😅
You are so welcome!😄
This is a great idea Christine, I love that you've left it unstuffed, so you can put in spare undies - perfect!
Thanks so much! 😊
It is brilliant and thanks for the great instruction! I might add a way to secure it to my other luggage so it doesn't get dropped and left.
That's a great idea Ima😀
Excellent solution! You took on the challenge and was victorious!!!!
Haha, thanks Gloria 😄

I was just thinking about making something like this to put a heated neck pad in for my aching neck and shoulders.
That would be a great idea Mary 😄
How brilliant what a great idea... Thank you for another fantastic tutorial... Definitely going to make a few of these for my grandchildren to use in the car. From a very cold -5°c Wales in the uk

That's great Yisell. Glad it helped. 😀
I put a strap on the outside of the bag so that it could slide onto the handle of a wheeled suitcase... this pillow with the zipper is a wonderful idea
That's a great idea Nancy. I might just do this again 😀
Brilliant! It would be lovely to figure out a handle(s) for it.
Absolutely Marilyn. Another person suggested a handle on the back. I nay do this one again 😀
Yessss, exactly what I was looking for! Do you think it would be possible to use Hellowsewing's printable pattern with your tutorial?
Yes, I think you can. Patterns are versatile, and you can just follow the technique 😁
Adding a loop somewhere would make it easier to carry, maybe with a clip to attach to your other carry-on?
That's a great idea. Another viewer suggested a handle on the back. I might add that in another video 😀
🥰🦋🌈🦋🥰
Thanks Teresa 😀
For a travel pillow, add a loop so you can hang it from your luggage.
That's a fabulous idea😁
what size zipper?
Kathleen, you can use a regular No.3 dress zip, or the No 5. 😁
