hello
hi
Hello love the show
Heey Rick are freeeeeee?
You a ready rich”
Hi Waleed! Thanks for being a #PawnStars fan!
2 seconds of googling and i found one for 1500 xD
Jesper Lian where 😂
Lol
literally same, found two that were basically identical for 1295 and another for 2400 and something lol.
And if you just want something "cool to hang on your wall" you can get fully functional battle ready halberd heads made for as cheap as 150 bucks each, then attach them to a nice pinewood pole and bam... instant clout.
People think they always know better than the professionals smh
The guy originally overpaid for them and now he's mad at the shop for his mistake.
Not as mad as he would be if he read your comment.
Marcus... yep. Some dodgy antiques dealer in a certain walled city in Germany scored good.
Man said you couldn’t pay 1500 for those if you found them in the ground... he is right, if you found them, They would be free 👌👌
next time he will prolly call craig before he buys smth
Its a 500 year old halberd. The estimate was rediculisly low.
Doctor : "You are dying of cancer"
This guy " 'I disagree"
"I disagree I did some research on Google and it's probably just a cold"
I’m not sure let me bring a expert in
*cancer cured*
This is great
“From my research”
Customer: "I'd have to have $40,000 for the three."
Expert: "I see these on a regular basis at auction for $500-$700 each."
Customer: " Well, in that case...can you give me $30,000?"
Think about it. I wanted 40k and now I’m bringing my price to 30k. You’re saving 10k already so that’s a steal.
Just looking at the title I knew it was gonna be this guy
stefan1132 yeah same
You mean Corey right?? If otherwise specify whom and what made you say that? 😐
@@primeanomalous4275 the seller. Saw the title n knew it had to be him. He's been on the show a number of times n his interactions with Craig are always the same.
@Julian DelFavero he is in an episode with a mace and another with a zweihander
Lol
That's an insult to the Dinkelsbühl poleaxe community.
Maybe the guy should collect PEZ instead then. :)
And that's why they're chooches!
Haha haha so original 👌
@@Aegisltd true pawn stars fans lol
Lmao
Wife: honey I’m pregnant
Guy: I disagree with you
lol
He gonna call a authenticator
Let me call in a buddy of mine to find out
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha
That guy is always mad because he always overpay for everything.
lol yes
He's a regular?
@@KainAbyss Yes he appears a few times in other videos, he has a lot of this stuff aparrently.
Hey man, if the script tells him to be "the mad one that overpay for everything", then that´s the part is going to play lol.
I see him a couple times selling item in 15- 20 range and I think the deal he got is the 2.1k deal..that's what I seen so far
Some guy in germany swindled this american tourist out off THOUSANDS lmaoooo. Dont think you're an expert just because you do "research."
Well the "experts", became experts because they researched and studied
@@josephstalin2138 No, not exactly. They are experts because they are constantly exposed to the market. Not because they did "some research" like a typical anti vax Karen. They devote their entire life and make a living dealing with these items.
That dude was brimming with rage. Definitely know who he voted for.
@@josephstalin2138 Exactly. In the proper academic institutions with proper professor etc etc. Not on Wikipedia or similar... 🤷♂️

What pez has to do with this?
This guy flushed a few heads in high-school.
To the Face lol you can tell a bully ha
Oh for sure! His face went purple with anger 🤣
Dude, he's definitely just trying to MAGA.
He’s a lawyer, here in Lubbock texas
I use to get kids pizza on Friday to take care guys like him.
Customer: I have done my research, these are real cause they are forged.
Specialist: Correct, they are made by a forger. These are real forgeries.
Probably not the best choice of words when you're trying to sell....
Haha This is funny
Haha very good
I’d like to be a fly on the wall when he tries to use that logic trying to cash a check at a bank.
This is the dude who always disagree with, right?
No, I disagree!
@@CaptainAmaziiing I see what you did there
Can we get a real expert here.
Craig: These are easy to find
Douchbag: I Disagree.
They were hand forging things as late as right this very minute. Every fellow blacksmith pro or hobbyist watching this winced when he said that.
It's not a proof of authenticity, but it eliminates a condition where it is not.
It's always hilarious to me when people argue with the experts over the value or authenticity of the item(s) they're trying to sell. Are the experts infallible? Absolutely not. Are they vastly more qualified to identify and appraise these thing than either the shop employees or the owners? Absolutely.
On the other hand, would I trust the expert called in by the party which would buy the item? 100% not. Granted most of the show is probably scripted and staged but if I'd want to sell something I'd hardly care what the expert of the buyer or seller would say. Maybe they get a cut, maybe they are legit but that's kinda hard to tell.
@@Solon you dont go to a pawn shop to get the full price of the thing you aré selling. You go because you want quick money for something that you Will not ger buyers on your own
Are you serious? These experts arent playing in an exact science. Pricing on anything not produced and consumed in present time for the masses, is entirely subjective. Not to mention this is the “shops” expert. Im not saying I dont trust these guys. But seriously it’s completely reasonable to be suspect about the “shops experts” estimation, and thats all it is, an estimation, there is no MSRP
hernan weber absolutely thats something the customers never seem to grasp to quickly
I like how the expert barely even acknowledged the customer, even when he shook his hand looked him in the eye and said "I disagree". It's like he knew the guy was the type to escalate it into an argument, and so he really just talked to Corey and Chum
This is not real. This is set up. It is so obvious.
Yep, Craig knows how to handle these douches, after all he used to be in the army.
Does a thousand dollars of damage to the ceiling lights on his way out...
Cory's stupid side handshake is annoying. Has no one every taught him how to properly shake someone's hand? What kind of father is Rick?
I found a beautifully engraved halberd that belonged to the personal guard of elector of Bavaria, Maximilian I (and III) for 9000$. This guy is delusional if he thinks that his ordinary halberds are worth 7500$ a piece.
Nah I think he said for the set.
@@noticedruid4985 Nah, 7500$ a piece, 15k $ for the set.
Cust: I need a million dollars for this rock I found in my backyard.
Rick: Sorry best I can do is a bunch of lame TH-cam comments about how cheap I am.
drewpamon: Butthurt about bunch of lame youtube comments about how cheap Rick is.
Rick: Hold my beer
drewpamon u better shut up before I kiss u.
LMAO
Rick ...But remember he is the one taking a risk here .
Guy: *buys $10 bill for $30*
Corey: "I'll give you $7 for it."
Guy: "You don't know what you're talking about. I paid $30 for it. You're undervaluing it."
exactly
Lmao Rick would offer him $5 after acting like he's taking a huge risk and might have to close the shop because he can't pay his bills and staff
Doctor: Your baby is a girl
This Guy : I disagree , put it back in
LOL
Actually he'd point at the umbilical cord and say rudely to the doctor, "It's obviously a boy!"
Yeah, he'd have done his research.
This is exactly how I feel everytime i trade my games at the gamestop.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
A thing being old doesn’t always mean it’s worth a lot of money.
Yeah, just look at Nicholas Cage.

@@stevecable8446 ?
When someone says it’s “hand forged”, was there another kind particularly 500 years ago.
Have ever heard of a 3D printer? Duh
He said it was hand forged when the guy mentioned it was only from the 1800's or so, which by then they probably had some type of mold for making them faster. But 500 years ago, it would've all been hand forged
_Might could've gotten some Oxen to stomp on them._
drawn or rollered
Things are still hand forged to this day
I just found a couple of these on the internet in nicer shape below $1,000
Craig is epic. I love that guy. He should have his own show!
He's had other shows
I googled for 30 seconds and found one for $1,395 so it isn't difficult lol
He probably found it aswell, but he kept looking until he found a much higher price and took that price as starting point.
@@ymann22
Everytime I sell stuff at a pawn shop they use a search net for the lowest price and offer well below that. Hence I research first and not once seen my items selling so cheap.
Then they scam you in Native Indian jewlery. A Cherokee seller offered me $350 for my necklace and said shed sell it for $500 and I wasn't interested in selling. Years later I needed a loan and ALL pawn shops only offered silver value... $20.00 appropriately and said if I don't pawn it out they will only melt the silver even though was made by a very famous Najvaho man.
I did the exact same thing, and found one for the same price as you did.
Yea I saw 1395-3995 for rare ones. That's resale so an offer of 1500 was very reasonable.
Lol.. I just did the same thing found one for 1200 and one that was in bad shape for 900
Expert: "Tell me what you know." *hears answer. "You're right."
The seller looks like Jeremy Dewitte 😂
That's hilarious he sure does.
Motor One 💀
Hahaha! 😂🤣 Yup!
Sergeant!
AHHHH I'm outta gas!
Great example of the difference between prices in a private sale between collectors and what items fetch in a retail setting.
"I'm fine with keeping them....." while leaving a pawn shop. 🤔
Btw this guy is an ambulance chaser from Lubbock, tx. He calls himself "the gorilla."
What is an ambulance chaser?
I live in DFW and I’ve never heard of ambulance chasing 😂 didn’t know if it was a Texas thing bc it sounds so crazy or if they literally chase ambulances
I love it when people disagree with the experts
as soon as i saw the video title ,"IRRITATED BY LOW OFFER" i knew who the seller was going to be
This guy reminds me of the "uh, no, actually..." People in the comment section
achktually
but let's be honest.... the "expert" that they called in works for them.... I don't doubt his expertise.... but the deal that would make sense, is they they call him in, he lowballs and undervalues.... they buy from the guy.... then they use the expert for a quick resell to a buyer that he probably has ready, and the expert makes a quick commission... it's a hustle....
The show is staged, the deals that do happen are ones that were agreed upon beforehand.
No it's not. The experts have a reputation to uphold. If people thought they were scammers, they wouldn't be in business.
Not to mention, if the seller doesn't like the price, he doesn't have to sell.
Your knowledge of basic business is lacking.
The thing is they dont acualy employ the experts and they dont even pay them. At least oficially
I wll never understand these customers who claim they know something is valuable and then try to dump it at a pawn shop.
if you know what it is worth, if you know the market, then sell it someplace where they will offer what you want.
I assume an auction house will take it.
Not defending the guy but a pawnshop can offer what you want. I assume youve seen other episodes lol. Pawn shops are the first place you go to even if you know the price of the item you're selling because you can get the money quick.
Your 1000% correct.
Its a tv show
Why does this guy keeps coming back?
He knows he's gonna get low balled 😂

The guy went from just being confident in his research to knowing more than the expert. I didn't know you could get so much more insight just from standing there looking at them while you wait for someone to come appraise them.
Seller : "I dissagree with that offer"
Video title : *OWNER IRRITATED!!!*
This is an insult to the Poleaxe community! Outrageous!!!!!
One time I had a nice car for sale on Craigslist and the price was quite high. People called and texted me showing me same cars like mine that were much cheaper. EVERY TIME I told them "You're right, it's definitely a good deal.......go buy that one". Eventually someone came and gave me my asking price. The reason for selling it at my asking price was because 1. I knew what I had.......2. I knew how much what I had was worth......... 3. I knew there would be a buyer for my car AT THAT PRICE .
You couldn’t buy these for $1500 if you found them in the ground rusted!
Uhhhh.... what? 🤨
Yup. Cause they would be free! Lol
Bruh this guy is too cocky like he knows better than the historian guy
Really surprised no one has knocked out Craig yet.
I don’t know what you call an “expert” if he just work for the pawn shop and gets commissions. I mean that could be clearly corruption
You don't know anything
It's amazing how many people come into a pawn shop and expect the shop to pay maximal value as if they are the end buyer. They're just a middleman.
Mr Trump you have lost elections. Trump: I disagree with you.

1 thing I agreed with him on is on 1 episode he said"just because rick brings in some guy to give a price doesn't means he's right they are friends so ofcourse he is going to tell rick there worth a lower price so he can buy it for cheaper that's like me calling 1 of my buddies to come in and lie for me to get more money"

Not sure what this guy's deal is. He repeatedly brings in items asking ridiculous prices and then acts offended at the appraisal. Sell them yourself if you are so sure.

It's call halberd, another term for pole axes. If youre curious :)
Either term is acceptable
Corey was actually correct here...they are generally the same thing but the defining difference between a poleaxe and a halberd is that a halberd has a hook shaped blade on one end designed for pulling cavalry off their horses.

I always find it funny when people get upset over getting told their things aren't priceless. Even if they are legit, you should expect to be lowballed selling to a pawn shop regardless, just like when trading your car into a dealership or having them buy it from you. Taking the hit is the trade off for basically an effortless sale on your part.
