Please continue with these shows after elections so we can bring the various topics to the forefront that need to be discussed. Public discourse is very very important. Really enjoy these shows 🙏
It has been on for 10 years yes but it stopped for a very long time it came back for a period of two weeks n then stopped again. This should feature atleast weekly that way important issues do not fall on the back burner and gets replaced by the latest news story
Can't wait for the younger individuals to come through and help make the country better. What inspiring individuals. We must do away with politics and politicians
I'm glad that the programme is back and running. And this is but one of the ways that translates what we mean when we say media must by all means necessary be used to teach and conscientize the citizens of the country served. May it continue to run post elections and discuss all topics necessary to grow this country. This is how you get the youth to be interested in things that actually matter.
Thank you for giving people this platform to have these discussions. We've got to find what works for SA, it will never work if people are continuing to be excluded. We have a 30% unemployment rate, that means we have that room for growth as well.
After the elections are done & new government established can we then have a final debate with new government to explain how, when they will run their various programs? How do we keep them accountable? Cause so far it’s all talk , with bombastic English!
This was a good debate compared to those once you had before because there so called big parties are not there. That's ANC EFF DA and the few. The control was very good and issues were very important too
Very interesting. I enjoy when people ask the hard questions. It true we can't continuesly accept money if it takes. Politicians must be serious about the source because 99% of the time money decide. Let us be hard on ourselves if we want the new. Many Leaders can learn from Mpho Dagada. The starting point is very crucial. If we want to build an inclusive economy we must redefine what it means to be an African how much percentage can we take from economies that were successful on Current capitalistic system. Can capitalism alone support us to be successful as them or we need a balance so different tailored for our countries landscape in economics?
Thembiklie, I follow you for how many years and I respect you and the job you doing. One question, if you don't mind and take me in your confidence, like you use to ask? Are you captured? By who and please declare your "gratification received". I follow the Big Debate religiously, but i don't see any other people of coulor on you show, you deliberately, don't invite them and/or ignore them when they put up their hands to ask questions, needless to mention that you don't even invite them be part of the Big Show, Bua ntate

What a lot of people miss out on when it comes to education is that we our country has not fully adopted a system that uses a common language, it's a very good ideal to have mother tongue education, but that ideal doesn't speak to economic growth. Long ago China adopted a single common language for their country, more recently they go out of their way to teach English, in order to be able to trade internationally. I am of the opinion that we need to do more with regard to teaching people to understand the English language, because if we continue to fragment our society when it comes to language, our economic prospects will be hindered.
THIS IS CRAZY WHERE DO YOU THINK WE WILL GET THAT 100 TO FUND YOUR PARTY,...GUYS WE ARE GETING 350s AND YOU WANT US TO GIVE YOU 100...U CRAZY U SEE THAT WE DONT EVEN HAVE JOBS,...THIS PEOPLE ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY AND GROWING THEIR POCKETS...WHAT WE NEED IS JOBS TO FEED OUR FAMILIES AND IMPROVE THE CURRENT STATE OF THE COUNTRY
We should have KPIs for all ministries. They must come to the big debate on a quarterly bases to tell us how are they achieving their objectives they have set for their departments. 🙌🏾
We need astute and intellectual leaders with a concise strategy to turn our country around, and we have huge potential. Non party affiliation. The average age of ministers in Nordic countries are between 52 and 56! What do we have in South Africa 61 to 72!
Get rid of the criminals cartels that stealing from all south Africans. You all pay tex. So you all sould vote 🗳 for the house. Who is the house. When she said free Pelistine. Should we really believe what those poeple that are debating there because it happens every election year. but nothing happens.thereafter.,it's really sad that.south Africans are so knowledgeable
Not to say I'm being judgmental , if they give them power now what is the 1st thing will they do. Cause talking is different than action, especially to the youth...
Great show, however, select one topic , education or health, pls dont bring ordinary people, not those who aligned to political parties, they are pushing their agendas, money, money height is in government let's get a real direction
Don't trust politicians can be understood as, don't go and vote, he puts it carelessly and forgets that 1 million young people will end up staying away because their leader said not to trust politicians. Rather he tells them who of the politicians should not be trusted and then suggest an alternative.
We need a debate surrounding the question asked by the guy in the green shirt firstly, Secondly we are not ready for the Palestine question, lastly our leaders need to be clear as asked by the young lady in uniform, but overall it was a good interview.
