I won’t spoil it for folks - go watch the video but great goal to go after and to be honest you have done so many hugely long and short ones that this one fits very nicely. Let’s go.
Nice one, I’m also running a marathon on the 29th September in Warsaw aiming for sub 3:30 after miserably hitting a wall in London 2023 and finishing in 4:16 🥲 good luck mate
Great stuff Fergus did the loch Ness a few years ago and it's a lovely one to do apart from the pain off course 🤷Good luck on your sub 3 hour training. Mine was 3.52 which I was pleased with but would look to go again 15 years later at the age of 56 to try and achieve a marathon.
Will definitely follow your journey ! Really like your work and personnality. After 7-8 years of having kids, restarting-stopping running about 50 times but staying active with some crossfit or hybridish training, my recent upper body aches decided me to getting back to serious running, hopefully to get back to a marathon race for my 50th birthday in 2 years. Cheers from France.
Excited to watch along. Just finished my first marathon and would love to go again with a bigger focus on time. For now onto some hybrid summer 5k/deadlift goals inspired by the main man
That's a cool goal! Definitely looking forward to the upcoming videos. Inspiring stuff! I've got planned a two day running endeavour: 10k on roads on the first day, 10k on the trails on the second. 10k should be doable easily as a distance. Fairly fast 10k probably not with current condition. Two consecutive days of somewhat competitive 10ks is a new experience altogether. Barren shelves seem like they could have some miniatures on cool plinths/bases. 😉
Love these guys and all they share and do. Great Training programs too! Currently I just changed up to train for 100miler using there coaching 100k plan and some insight from therm. How do I buy Merchandise guys?? have a great one all the way from Las Vegas!
Good luck with the new goal! Ramp looks tasty too 👀 i live beside Harrison Park and would love a shot at some point if you're ever fancying an open house sesh
Can’t wait to follow along this next adventure!! I’m doing the same event this year and it was the first one I ever did back in 2013! You’ll love it!!!
Mega! I am running my first official marathon race in june, aiming for sub 4. Then another one in october. I can resonate with you on the speed work. Done a couple ultra runs and going from that to the marathon is a pace im not used to but loving it!
That's exciting! looking forward to seeing the prep! currently training for my first half marathon which will falls on my 30th birthday along with a PR in my lifting total!
Hey Dustin I did the full marathon in Charlotte back in 2017! And it was awesome great cold weather for marathon. But all the other marathons I have done have been myrtle beach and they have all been 60-70 degrees and warm and humid every time ! I’m thinking about returning to Charlotte for marathon bec it seems always be good weather. However myrtle beach is hit or miss in Charlotte with high humidity
Dear Fergus, you are a true hero to many of us recreational athletes. You are so good at so many things. What would you say to making a unique triathlon? I have thought about maybe have the run be an OCR or Spartan race. Maybe one section could be a WOD grind where you do so many deadlifts pull-ups or burpees for time. Have the bike be a gravel race. Make an OCR swim? Also, I wanna learn how to prep a sub three hour marathon. I am 56, and have aches and pains. How do you feel about backwards treadmill running, backwards sled dragging, and tibialis strengthening? I wanna protect my decent knees etc. I wanna do a tri and powerlift all in the same year. How does 80/20 zone work for swimming? Could you have Jornet on your show? Hill skipping bounding?
I ran 3:15 for my first marathon then foolishly thought my second attempt would be an easy sub 3. Trained pretty hard and got a 3:13 for marathon number 2. Sub 3 will be tough, but i have faith in you
Great video! As someone who lifts and is running my first 50 mile ultra this weekend curious why do you lift in the morning and run in the afternoon, as opposed to the other way around?
I didn’t think anyone would try and break the great white shark wrestling world record. But if anyone can do it, it’s you… Ah, balls. Sorry. That’s a spoiler.
Damn i cant believe hes doing a 250k run and squating 250kg after each km for his next project
NO SPOILERS!!!
@@ferguscrawley95 The problem is I read that and thought, yeah, sounds like Fergus!

Good luck at Warsaw 👍
This is awesome to hear as I’m currently about to go into week 4 on the OMNIA Strength + Marathon Plan to run my first marathon 💪🏻
Great challenge! You've probably got it sorted but for the gap under the garage you can get garage seal strips which work really effectively.

Did you know Fergus hosts a podcast as well? Check out the channel here (alongside all major audio platforms!) 🎙
I second this.
@@ferguscrawley95 First sign of madness...
Why do you not do cardio and weights together?
