🎥 VIDEO DESCRIPTION
I use my Outlook calendar and TickTick to help me manage my day. In this video I walk through how I get organized at the beginning of every day to make sure I'm where I need to be at, when I need to be there... as well as getting the tasks done that I need to get done.

I like that idea about printing the calendar. Thank you
Thank you, Joshua. Very helpful.
You're welcome!
Thank you so much for your TickTick videos
My pleasure! 👍 ✅
Thanks for sharing your planning process.
So you combine paper planning and digital app, is this more convenient?
What if use a tablet device with pen instead of a paper?
I like using pen and paper. I actually would like to use pen and paper more... I like the idea of bullet journalling, but don't find it practical. There's something about stepping away from the digital tools for a minute and just using plain old pen and paper that I like.
Thanks for the video. What do you use to store notes permanently for quick reference when needed? Evernote? Something else? Thanks again.
Well, that's something that I wish I did better or had a better system for. Mostly I use a cross between TickTick and Google Drive. But it's definitely something that could use some improvement.
What do you use?
@@JoshuaBest Been using Evernote organized using notebooks and tags. Notebooks for type of notes - phone calls, meetings, reference items, etc. Tags in each note for people or company names, etc, so I can quickly filter past convos, meetings, phone calls by person, company, location, etc. But there's limited integration with TickTick when a note requires action.
I've noticed a lot of users that are dissatisfied with Evernote lately due to pricing. Do you pay for it? Do you like it?
@@JoshuaBest I do pay for it & I've seen a lot of negative reviews too. But I haven't been able to find another app with similar filtering features. So I am always on the lookout for alternative options. I was on Notion for a while but didn't quite like the mobile experience.
Why are you so focused on Ticktick and ticktick only? I mean what do you even get? What's the motive behind?
It's just the task management app that I use... I like using it and sharing how I use it. I'm sure there are a lot of other great apps out there too... I just don't use most of them.
@@JoshuaBest I get you, but why put so much time into making videos about it? When you can make videos about other topics and apps in the productivity niche. I mean use ur time better, cause those views might pay too! 💰
I appreciate Joshua's focus on Ticktick. I send people to his channel all the time. 🤷🏼♀️
Cool, thanks!! Appreciate it! 👍
