So sorry for the loss of Frank. My husband and I lost our dog Kirby to cancer two years ago September 14. He was the best.. more important than the day we got married was the day we got Kirby a year prior in 2013. This wound will never heal completely for you both. I cried for a year plus daily. Now, only so much. We visited Orange County Animal Shelter likely 50+ times before we met our new fur baby. It was 14 months and still felt too soon. Honestly, we could have gone either way. I hope you make room in your hearts to love someone new. You aren't "getting a new dog" as though replacing Frank. But give it time. ❤️
We are so sorry to hear about Kirby. Everyone thinks their dog is the best and everyone is right! They have such a unique way of coming into our families and making such a lasting impression. I got Frank 3 days after losing my dog Rocky. We aren't near ready, but when the time is right I feel like we'll know.
We just put our sweet Cooper down yesterday. The pain and heartbreak is unimaginable. We were lucky to have him for 14 wonderful years. Thinking of you in your time of loss. I have purposefully been putting watching this video off because I knew how painful it would be. I grew up with dogs and as an adult, I never wanted to have them because I remembered the pain of losing them. But once we had kids, we let them talk us into getting a dog, and now we have 2. They are now 10 and 15, and I know this is coming and it absolutely kills me. My heart goes out to you both for losing Frank. You gave him the absolute most wonderful life, and it’s evident by the love we saw in your videos. But when people say I didn’t rescue them, they rescued me, i wholeheartedly believe this ❤ Sending prayers and hugs your way.

We adopted our Dog Buddy December 2012, He now has diabetes , blind and deaf, but we still care for him, Buddy still has some spunk, He is 14 years old. My wife and I have a still very happy dog who is living with heart failure. His daily meds have allowed him a great quality of life and for us to be with him as long as he is comfortable and happy. I cherish every walk and daily treat (shhh... pill) sessions with him. I cannot even begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Losing a pet hurts so very much.

I wasn’t going to comment because I feel I am a little late to the game; I apologize for not following your other social media outlets where this tragic news was already known by your many followers. However, after seeing the tears wept and the words spoken, you three broke my heart. I lost the love of my life, a black-and-white tuxedo Persian cat, almost exactly five years ago. He was my “only child” too. I don’t know if this will help, but at the time, I wrote some little quips to sort through my feelings. At the time of his death and at this time of year, a crescent moon can be seen hanging low in the sky. I can almost see the shadow of his tail at the base of crescent; maybe you can think of little Frank’s tail wagging there too. Here are some of the sentiments that helped me: Until I can hold you in my arms again, I will hold you in my heart. I would hold you in my arms forever and walk with you wherever; one day, sweet boy, we will see the entire world together. And finally, as Dr. Seuss would say, “don’t cry because it’s over; smile because it happened.” I didn’t know much of your backstory, Sam and Jay, but I could tell something was different about you two; maybe it was the way Jay looks at Sam, as if she is the only person walking around Disney World, or perhaps it is the way you can see the warmth in Sam’s eyes as she gazes up at Jay. I did not know you two were taking on this world so alone. And yet, there was little Frankie to help fill some of the emptiness. I hope your hearts heal-I know never completely-but enough to keep your love glowing bright. You don’t know how many lives you touch. Thank you for what you do, and I know Frank would have loved his new dog park, but I think he will have a better one now without any fence to contain him. I have purposefully been putting watching this video off because I knew how painful it would be. I grew up with dogs and as an adult, I never wanted to have them because I remembered the pain of losing them. But once we had kids, we let them talk us into getting a dog, and now we have 2. They are now 10 and 15, and I know this is coming and it absolutely kills me. My heart goes out to you both for losing Frank. You gave him the absolute most wonderful life, and it’s evident by the love we saw in your videos. But when people say I didn’t rescue them, they rescued me, i wholeheartedly believe this ❤ Sending prayers and hugs your way.

He was the sweetest, spunkiest dog with the cutest personality. I’ll always cherish the times I got to pet sit for him and the times he’s slept with me whenever I’ve come to visit. I’ll also never forget on our first group trip when he guarded me and Anthony all night and made me feel safer and calmer about flying. He was and is truly an angel. He was so lucky to have you as dog parents and you guys were also lucky to have such a perfect dog. 🫶🏻 you gave him the happiest and most fulfilled life and he got to live his Disney dreams with you guys.

Why did I think it was a good idea to watch this video during my lunch break. I feel like I can relate so much with the loss of a dog. Losing Chellybean was so difficult. The emptiness of the house is the worst.

I am so so sorry for your loss...it's awful that pets can't live as long as we can...You were amazing Frank parents, and your love for him was obvious to all...most especially him!! Thank you for sharing him with us as often as you did! Please take care of each other...sending you compassion and support...We've lost two amazing dogs in the past 20 years...and while it does get easier over time, they are always with us...I have this poem in a frame with pix of our dogs that we still miss every day:

My wife and I have a still very happy dog who is living with heart failure. His daily meds have allowed him a great quality of life and for us to be with him as long as he is comfortable and happy. I cherish every walk and daily treat (shhh... pill) sessions with him. I cannot even begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Losing a pet hurts so very much.
We're so glad the meds are helping and he still has a great quality of life! We've experienced a lot of loss before but this really hits differently. Their lives are entirely too short :(

I wasn’t going to comment because I feel I am a little late to the game; I apologize for not following your other social media outlets where this tragic news was already known by your many followers. However, after seeing the tears wept and the words spoken, you three broke my heart. I lost the love of my life, a black-and-white tuxedo Persian cat, almost exactly five years ago. He was my “only child” too. I don’t know if this will help, but at the time, I wrote some little quips to sort through my feelings. At the time of his death and at this time of year, a crescent moon can be seen hanging low in the sky. I can almost see the shadow of his tail at the base of crescent; maybe you can think of little Frank’s tail wagging there too. Here are some of the sentiments that helped me: Until I can hold you in my arms again, I will hold you in my heart. I would hold you in my arms forever and walk with you wherever; one day, sweet boy, we will see the entire world together. And finally, as Dr. Seuss would say, “don’t cry because it’s over; smile because it happened.”
I didn’t know much of your backstory, Sam and Jay, but I could tell something was different about you two; maybe it was the way Jay looks at Sam, as if she is the only person walking around Disney World, or perhaps it is the way you can see the warmth in Sam’s eyes as she gazes up at Jay. I did not know you two were taking on this world so alone. And yet, there was little Frankie to help fill some of the emptiness. I hope your hearts heal-I know never completely-but enough to keep your love glowing bright.
You don’t know how many lives you touch. Thank you for what you do, and I know Frank would have loved his new dog park, but I think he will have a better one now without any fence to contain him. May he run wild and free in the pink cotton candy-like clouds that you see upon every Florida sunset. Best to you two, and a prayer for Frank will be said tonight.
