I'm from Florida. Helene was not only a cat 4 hurricane but it had a 1,000 mile windfield and was traveling at 23 mph!
Helene came speeding through my town, wiped it out. Black Mountain /Swannanoa. Did the Black Mountain police department give her a ticket? Nope....😉 We The People of Western NC will rebuild! Glad you are safe.
Thank you, Bri and Art, for sharing this video with us. No. 1, that you and your family are safe. But the other thing, is showing us what people in your area are dealing with. The TV news is not covering this catastrophic event and showing the rest of us what is going on and what is not going on. Our hearts and prayers go out to all who are dealing with this unbelievable event. We have missed videos from you all for awhile, I know "life". Be safe, make wise decision when you are out traveling. Liz
Walmart near Concord Airport is taking in supplies and there are helicopters and emergency vehicles sending supplies up. thank you for letting us know how catastrophic things are as we DO want to help but also do not want to impede and add to the chaos.
Thanks for posting this. We live in Concord. I’ll go over now.
We are relieved y'all are alright. Stay safe, hug your kids and each other. We haven't forgotten you ❤Peace & Prayers
I love your little one singing ABC in the background. Glad you and your family are safe. Prayers to all our neighbors in the south!
