Was so satisfying seeing that wrx lose, what a dirty playstle
WMMT5 races are always a dirty play style. Seen people play before. I really hate how they race. Racers crash into each other to gain or stay 1st place. It disgusts me alot
That's the point of VS Battles. If you don't want to get blocked, then play time attack instead. A lot of people play dirty like that, so instead of complaining about those dirty players, learn how to counter them.
No rule for forbidding brake blocker. Go and play R Tuned lol.

To y'all who is disgusted at the concept of brake blocking, it's part of the tradition most wangan players have adapt to the point it became an ordinary playstyle. Not everyone gonna put their entire wangan career into clean running without some spice to it.
to those that say they're racing dirty, remember that this is a competition and the physics in this game doesn't make this game easy to overtake.

To people complaining about the WRX playing dirty, remember that this is an arcade game, not a simulator like Gran Turismo or Forza. This battle also had the handicap on, so the chasing players get the advantage.
When you thought blocking isn't fair, neither is the handicap. The chasing players will always catch up to the leading player regardless the speed, unless the chasing players mess up so badly like by hitting cars and walls.
However, blocking is a bitch move in off-handicap battles, which we very rarely do.
So, instead of complaining about players who block, learn how to counter them.
Learn how to counter them is a good strategy but it's quite a shame seeing that Impreza crashing into the opponent at the very start of the race, also is an arcade but they seem to lose some speed when they have a contact so even if it isn't a simulator it's still dirty driving.
I have a question about the advantage since I don't know the game, I saw this video in the recommendations: if both cars start lined up and the advantage goes to the chasing one, when an overtake happens, isn't the advantage "transferred" to the overtaken car? If yes then why don't just get passed and use the advantage instead of crashing and brake checking?
@@andyspeed98 because the chaser would overtake the leader nonetheless, so it's a very common thing for the leader to block instead of giving the chaser a cheap overtake, while also frustrating the chaser by doing that. It's a very common thing to do and I've gone through it a lot. Battles in let's say Indonesia are like that, just recently I went in a 1 vs 3 battle and one of them brake blocked me while letting the two other race. Seems unfair, but there are no rules about brake blocking, so it's a completely legal thing to do. Brake blocking is a part of the game.
