I love how the dark elves' vortex campaign story is similar to the high elves, like how 2 heroes venture together to help advance the rituals, and both the druchii and asur's heroes are a mage and a melee hero
Ah yes, that´s right. Since the standard-mages in-game of the HE are all females, I quick-thought that the girl was the mage as well. But still, the mage at the end also dies don´t he? He sacrifices himself in the ritual to save the vortex or something? "Fleeting Glory, but glory nonetheless", at least that was what I got from that.

If you read the epilogue a few turns after gaining the vortex, you find out that Galifreius died before she even met Talarian, this Fake Galifreius was an Agent of Morathi all along

It's almost impossible to write a plot in warhammer everyone likes, thinking every faction is properly represented. One that forces all the races to fight each other. The story is good considering all those factors of difficulty.

Really the campaign for Warhammer 3 is hot garbage compared to Warhammer 2's Vortex campaign. I'm playing through the Kislev campaign and it makes me want to rip my hair out. I never EVER felt that with the Vortex campaign. The story is super lackluster and way too copy paste for each faction, for example Konstaltyn nor Boris don't even appear in the last cutscene while Katarina does. Realms of Chaos was poorly made.
She didn't slay the horned God it vanished and from it came a swarm of rats probably billions of em. So yeah even an elven mage can't handle all that but they still managed to eradicate the rats at the cost of an elven loremasters life

@@kokoofdoom ik abt them light and dark elves they're yeah prolly an inspiration but elves in Tolkiens world build the biggest most beautiful castles while the scandinavian elves live in forests so they are much more teleri than the Noldor

After winning first scaven army game will give you 2 spells - first is direct aoe dmg anywhere on the map(deals about 1\2 of units hp), second is crazy aoe heal. Both of them has 25-30 seconds CD. I think its winniable only with lvl 40 tyrion and this 2 vortex spells :D. And man, next army comes only when prev. one is broken, so its not so hard
It's just a name. If you want to be more specific about what they took inspiration from LoTR then you would clearly see how Aenarion is an amalgamation between Fëanor and Fingolfin.

Look at tww1 and the great cinematics. There weren't a whole lot of them because they're expensive to make. And to be fair, while being beautiful, they don't bring much to the table from a narrative standpoint. Here you get actual story telling and great artworks which is more valuable.
Easy to compare tww2 completed and tww3 just starting. You might want to wait until tww3 is finished in 2 or more years to compare the two. 10 months after your comment tww3 is already far better than when it came out. We barely had any DLCs yet...
